nrpg - Sorry, guys, I forgot to send this to the entire warren!

>"Great," Kehan said handing her the money to cover the drink. He ordered
>food and waited around for a bit. He sat talking with Raissa for a bit
>afterwards.

"Some people have all the luck," Raissa said.

"What do you mean by that?" Kehan asked.

"You just drop by an inn, befriend the serving people, and walk out, almost
as callously as your average dragonrider. I, on the other hand, have to
chose carefully what I do in case word ever gets home," she explained.

"What's wrong with your home?" Kehan asked.

"You got yourself into this one. Okay, home. Well, I just happen to be
the daughter of a nothern border lord, Lord Jerith Orthallen, if you are
wondering. The town is nestled in a valley near a group of very successful
coal mines. Unfortunately, most of our coal gets tithed to the Warren or
sold to the Guild of Swords. I guess the people are lucky nothing much has
ever happened in Orthallen. I, myself, have not been home in eight years,
and if I ever did return, I would probably be swamped with more suitors than
any other young lady. I would never get out of there without a husband,"
Raissa said.

"That sounds awful," he responded.

"I am sure it doesn't compare to some of the things you have seen," she
said, casually.

"What?!" he exclaimed.

"As a bard, I saw many kinds of people, as a healer, I saw even more, and I
know how to recognize a thief when I meet one. They send out an aura of
certain emotions. Now, if you would kindly return my knife?" Raissa asked.

<nrpg - Tag, Khan! Dig yourself out of this one is you can!>

Raissa left Kehan sitting at the table after retrieving her knife. She
went to her room and drew a hot bath. It felt good to relax and let her
muscles recover from a full day of riding.

The next morning, after a large breakfast, Kehan stopped her.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"To Cleft Warren, where I have been permanently assigned," she said. "I am
going to get my horse, and if you would like to come along, you will have to
keep up."
