How she remembered still the way it had felt when she and Blanchie 
had taken their first flight together. It had been wonderful. Better 
then anything she could remember. Even the time she had spent with 
To'lato in the woods the first time she had....

Finally to be able to fly off on her own without having to depend on 
one of her brothers for a ride. Oh they'd been nice about it and all, 
but there was just something about having your own dragon to fly 
around on that beat everything else.

Lenna was leaning against her lavender friend sharing her feelings 
with the beast as she watched her nephew My'kel mount the saddle 
attached to his Voger. the boy... no young man was about to fly for 
the first time and several members of the family were there to 
witness his triumph. 

Dragging her eyes off of the hatchling pair, Lenna noticed a rider 
she didn't recognize. Visiting dropping off supplies, or maybe a new
transfer. They were still coming in everyday. Cleft Warren was slowly
beginning to fill up. 

It'll be nice, she thought as she looked the girl over, to have a 
full wing. Seeing that no one else had approached her, Lenna decided 
to take it upon herself to do so and started walking towards the 
pair.

"You are new here aren't you", She asked smiling.

"Yes my name is Katrina Silvera. Myself and my dragon Azure just
transfered here from Norwall."

"My name's Lenna, Blanchie's rider. Welcome to the Cleft," she 
laughed, and swept her arms out to include the whole of the place. 
"It's about as far form Norwall as you can get... in a matter of 
speaking. We're still living kind of rough here, but it's coming 
along."

"Maybe," the girl grinned. "But it sounds as if you really like 
it here."

"Oh I do!" Lenna agreed quickly. "But then my whole family is here 
so that helps. Though sometimes I have cause to regret my last words. 
With four older brothers looking after me... well five men.. if you 
include B'rand, sometimes I kind of wish I was an only child... In 
fact that tall blond-headed boy over there... that's my nephew 
My'kel. He's already been warned not to start acting like the others towards
me or I'll box his ears."

Somehow the new rider could picture the blond doing just that.

"Do you know where you're to go?" she asked. "Did they tell you at 
Norwall anything about our Warren here?"

"Not really," Katrina answered. "Just that when I got here I was to 
go see the Warrenlady, Cynthia. Could you tell me where I might find 
her office? My Azure, has already informed her Queen that we're here 
so I best to find her soon."

"I'll walk you over there," she offered. "The way from here can be 
a little confusing, and since I have to be going that way anyway to 
meet one of those brothers I told you about...."

"If you're sure it would be no bother?"

"Not at all," Lenna told her as they began to walk. 

As they walked, Lenna filled her in a little about the Warrenlady. 
Letting her know what to expect and letting her know that she had 
nothing to fear from her meeting.

"Not like my B'rand did when they first meet," she grinned and told 
the girl about B'rand and Cynthia's first meeting and then gave her 
an edited version of her own meeting with the red-head.

"I was sure by the next morning that he wouldn't ever want to speak 
to me again," she admitted wearing a lopsided frown. "But he came 
around to seeing things my way....."

They came to the entrance leading into the Warrenlady's office and 
after wishing Katrina good luck and telling her to have Azure, 
contact Blanchie if she needed any help, Lenna continued on to her 
practice with Farr'in.

Kris B.: Sorry this took so long getting out. As I said it doesn't 
usually take this long.. and we'll make sure in the future it doesn't happen
again...:) Hope this was all right for your first meeting. 

Lenna is a wonderful person...(he he) who believes in speaking her 
mind and doesn't take any bull at all from anyone... with the 
exception of B'rand who's temper is just as fiery as her own can be 
at times. She's  a good friend to those who are fair with her but 
at the same time... she'll make your life a living h--- if you cross 
her. She also had a smart mouth on occasion.... and she REALLY hates 
it when her brothers try to protect her.....
