"Lenna's gone. She hopped on Blanchie and they took off....Brisse 
will get through this Dani," his brother tried to help settle his 
fears. 

"By the Gods I hope so," Dan'yar cried softly. "Or Rook's rider 
will answer to me!!"

"Come on," Lonnie said told him and took ahold of his arm. "It's 
not going to do you any good to stand out here and worry when you 
shouldn't even be out of your bed yet."

Dan'yar knew Lonnie was right. He'd been through this before on 
those rare occasions when his former mate Layla's dragon had been 
won by a dragon other than Shinner. 

But then Layla had never had to go through the horrors that the 
younger girl had. Layla had never suffered through the trauma of 
being raped. So he couldn't help worrying about Brisse and how she 
was taking this. 

He let his younger brother lead him back to his bed in the medical 
center and then told the man to go.

"I'll be all right," Dan'yar had told him. "But I think you should 
try to find Lenna where ever it is she's gone to. I think your twin 
might need you a little more than think."

"Yeah," Lonnie agreed, sighing while running his fingers through his 
blond hair. "I tell you Dani, I've never seen her as upset over 
anything as she was today."

"Well if she loves the man as must as she thinks she does.." he 
tried to grin. "Then she'll just have to learn to work her feeling 
out."

Lonnie grinned back at him. "You forget who you're talking about."

Later after his younger brother had left, Dan'yar laid there in on 
the bed. He had tried to clear his mind of the earlier happenings, 
but found it hard to do so. His mind refused to quit worrying about 
the young woman he was in love with and what she must be going 
through.

Praying she would get through it without more harm, he sat back to 
wait. Would she come to him when it was over? Or would she be to 
upset. He'd give her sometime and then if she didn't come by the 
medical center... he'd go looking for her. 

She had to know that he would be there for her. No matter what.
