[DL-C] Interruptions Be Gone

[the day after Lenna hit's the bedridden man in the med center... I think...]

Lenna
*******

<My rider, Shinner said if you want to get back to work then you have better
pull your ... well... get out of bed and meet your partner down on the green
in half an hour!>

Lenna rolled her body away from where she'd been cuddled up and warm next to
her mates and was out of the bed before her dragon could finish her message.

"What's happening," B`rand asked sitting up and reaching to pull the covers
off his body to follow her.

"Nothing love... go back to sleep," she turned to him and smiled. "Blanchie
just told me Dani's putting me back on a regular patrol schedule and I only
have half an hour to meet Katrina on the green."

Only later did she learn it was only going to be part time. There was still
the milk run that needed to be finished, but Dani had listen to Lonnie when
he'd explained why Lenna should be put back on Patrols.... He'd a greed to
give it a try... but a few days at a time to work her back into the routine.

Lenna was just happy to get back to doing what she'd been trained to do,
even that little bit was enough... for now.

She was on time meeting Katrina 30 minutes later and grinned happily at her
friend when she dismounted and came to meet her.

"Well Let's get to it," Kat ginned before Lenna could say anything. "It's
about time you got back in the saddle."

"Oh I couldn't agree more."

Turner
*******

One minute she was melting in his arms, his lips tasting her sweetness and
him feeling like he had died and went to heaven and the next she was gone
from his arms and the dream ended.

It took him a minute to realize something wasn't right. Kellie stood there
with a pained expression on her face and he didn't want to believe it was
because she hadn't been enjoying what they had just been doing.

He'd kissed enough women by now to know when they had been as deeply
involved in the kiss as he had been... and Kellie had been very deeply involved.

Turner stepped up behind her. "Kellie...is something wrong?" he asked. The
smith seemed nervous for some reason.

"We forgot something," she said. "We forgot whose dragon that is!"

Turner's eyes widened. "Damn! So we did!! Say, you don't think..."

Na... Could Trevor had set this up! Was he that worried about his mother
becoming involved with someone? With him?

Kellie sighed. "That's why she's really here? Probably...that would be
just like Trevor...he'd know we can't do anything in front of
her...but...well, work."

Turner thought quickly. He'd been enjoying himself and knew Kellie had be
feeling the same way. He'd finally worked thought her protests and wasn't
about to have to start all over again at a later date. The work here was
about as finished as it was going to get, and he figured he deserved some
time off for good behavior....

Now... how to get rid of their *baby* for a while?

For what he had planned they didn't need a chaperone. Nor did he want to
have to wait for Trevor to decide it was finally time to come back. For all
they knew Trev was off doing with Cynthia what he had been hoping to do with
Kellie.

By then Kellie could rethink things over and come up with another excuse why
they shouldn't be doing what they had been about to do....

Then it hit him. The perfect plan. What good was having nieces to help out
their favorite Uncle with a small problem, if he didn't think to ask them...

"Kellie, have Varie call Shinner, would you? Have her ask him if Dan'yar's
twins are home, right now...and if they are, if he wouldn't mind coming over
here for a moment."

Kellie did as she was asked then turned back to Turner. "Why did I just
have her tell Shinner to come over here?" she asked.

"Because I've just volunteered the twins to baby-sit our little chaperone!"
he chuckled. "And as soon as she's gone..." He grinned wickedly at her.
"...we'll get back to *work*!!"

"Oh, you rogue!!" Kellie chuckled, as they watched Shinner backwing in to
land next to Varie. She decided that the type of work Turner had in mind
was better than swinging a sledgehammer any day...

It didn't take long to fill Dan'yar in on what was happening... Of course
Turner didn't *have* to spell out the real reason why he wanted the twins to
watch Triss, but he could tell by the looks his older brother was giving
him, the man understood.

Turner and Kellie stood there on the ledge of Trevor and Triss's new home as
the copper-green Shinner carefully lowered the little hatchling to the
ground and then mounted Varie and as they flew away, they saw the twins
coming out to gather around the tiny one and hug him.

"Let's stop at my place for a minute before we go back to your place," he
asked, slipping his arm around her and pulling her into his embrace. "I want
to get some clean cloths."

Varie turned suddenly and headed in the direction of the unjoined
apartments, setting down a little smoother then her speed would have allowed
and then her nose came out to push him towards his place just after his feet
had hit the ground.

"What??" he turned back and looked up at Kellie who was just sliding off
Varie. "What I do?"

Kellie laughed. "She said you are to hurry? She has plans for later and
wants to drop us off first."

He chuckled as she came up beside him and slipped under the arm he held out.
"You might want to tell her I have no plans on hurrying..."

"No?"

"Nope... I plan on taking my time to see that things are...are.. done proper
and right," his lips curved up in a roguish grin that had her fighting to
caught her breath.

"I don't suppose I get a vote in this?" she asked.

His only answer was a grin as he led her up the short fight a steps leading
into his apartment.

He left her in the living room as he continued on into his bedroom and went
to the drawers for a set of clean clothes. Then found her looking over the
small stone carvings he had displayed on the shelves he'd cut into the solid
rock of the cave.

"Did you carve these?" she asked when she noticed he'd rejoined her.
"They're very good."

"Just something I do in my free time if I happen to find a rock that talks
to me."

"Oh... and what do they say to you?" she asked.

He moved real close to her grinning wickedly and she backed up until the
wall behind her, preventing her from going any further.

"Do you really want to know?" his voice smoothly asked.

She nodded her head, but he could tell her breathing was a little shallower
now. His nearness was effecting her and it thrilled him.

Bending closer he brought his arms up on either side of her and his lips
lowered until they were next to her ear.

"For a payment I'll tell you."

"Payment?" she asked, not understanding.

He nodded his head and grinned.

"What kind of a payment?" she asked, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"One little kiss."

"A kiss?" she repeated.

"Yup... a kiss."

"Seems like a small price to pay," she tilted her head back and waited for
him to kiss her, but when his lips failed to cover hers she opened her eyes
and looked up at him. "I thought you were going to kiss me?"

Turner shook his head, one side of his mouth titling upwards. "Nope...
You're the one who has to kiss me if you want to know."

"Oh is that the way this works?" she asked, getting into the spirit of the
game he'd started.

"Yup."

Minutes later neither of them cared one wit about who was kissing whom, as
lips slated over lips, and feelings starting deep inside blossomed into a
slow burning fire, cried now to be set free.

His mind was so full of the taste and feel of her in his arms that neither
heard the door opening or someone walking in, until someone called out his name.

"Turner?"

The two jumped apart. Turner pulling Kellie around behind him as he turned
to face the new comer.

"Sorry," the man smiled sheepishly as he faced them. "But I did knock, and
the door was open. I'm looking for Turner."

"You found him," he growled at the untimely interruption, then looked back
at Kellie who was trying hard not to laugh.

"What can I do for you?" he asked, giving the man a *this had better be
important* look.

"My name's C'aranth" the man told them. "And I was told to report to you
about finding an apartment to stay in."

"Visitor or permanent?" the smith asked.

"Permanent."

Turner sighed again but turned and walked over to pull a note pad out of the
top slot on his roll top desk. Then turning back to face them asked if he
wouldn't mind a few steps.

"We've only two or three apartments in shape for moving in," he explained.
"Most of the others are still a bit primitive."

"How about showing me what you got?"

Why me? He asked himself as he turned back to the desk to put his notepad
away. His eyes caught Kellie's and glared at her when her lips turned up in
a smile as sweet as any he'd ever seen from his sister on a good day.

Neither of the women did the innocent act very convincingly.

He returned the smile with one that seemed to tell her *you'll pay for that*
then winked to back up the threat.

"Promises, promises," she mouthed knowing the other man couldn't see her and
saw Turners eyes narrow and lips turn up slowly in a knowing grin.

"Just you wait," he warned then turned away from her and back to motion for
the other man to precede them out of the door of his Apartment.

C'aranth rejected the first apartment Turner showed him, and the smith
couldn't help but agree with the man's reasons.

The second one, which the dweller had to travel up six steps to get to,
suited the man just fine. It was on the far side of the unjoined wing and
faced out towards the main road into the Warren.

For here a person would have a good view of anyone or party approaching the
Warren proper. Turner couldn't help but think this was the main reason
C'aranth had chosen it. He just didn't know why and the man didn't feel
inclined to explain it to him. So he kept his suspicion to himself.

Arly and Leyean
*****************

"Now you two remember what you've always been told about how to act around
hatchlings," Dan'yar told his girls after he'd arrived home with Triss and
he'd explained to them what their uncle had asked of them.

"Oh we'll be good Papa," Arly spoke up first, then Leyean added her part.

"We always are with Shinner and Blanchie and Meri and...."

"I get the idea," he grinned and reached out to tousle Leyean's mop of blond
hair. "Just remember that you've been given a great deal of responsibility
looking after Triss until Trevor comes home, and you don't want to make him
think his trust was a mistake."

"Yes Papa!" both girl's said at once and then giggled when Triss waddled up
to inch her way in between them as if she didn't want to be left out.

Hey maybe we could give her a bath?" Lea turned to her twin and suggested.
"Then we can oil her and pretend she's really our dragon."

Dan'yar walked back into his own apartment chuckling as he heard the girls
plotting.

Minutes later the two human twins and the small hatchling were wading out
into the small pond that had been built near the hatchling barracks.

Since a newly hatched dragon couldn't fly right after they were hatched, and
since learning how to wash, oil and care for their new mates was a big part
of the first few days training, it was decided a small pond big enough to
fill the need was to be given top priority when it proved transporting
buckets of water to do the job, took way to much time.

This afternoon, the girls and Triss were the only ones using it, so when the
fun and games started, no one had remained dry for long.

They soon made a game of climbing up on Trissana's back and then the
hatchling would wade out a little and try to dump them into the deeper waters.

Sometimes this took awhile, until Triss learned how to *roll over*.

Several people walking by stopped to watch the sight after hearing the
giggles coming from the waters. They laughed along with the twins and
shouted encouragement's to Triss. Who looked to be doing fine on his own,
while being careful that no harm came to the two small humans.

Neither the dragon or the two humans found it strange that they were able to
understand each other... even without words.

Thought they had both tried, separately and together, neither of the girls
had been able to *hear* Triss talking to them as they did with the dragon's
ridden by their Papa, Uncle's and Aunt Lenna. Sometimes they could hear
Tymor speak to them... but only when the Queen had something to say to them
alone.

But they didn't care. They were having to much fun.

Even as small as she was, and with two people helping, it took nearly and
hour for the girls to oil the hatchlings scales as Triss kept wiggling about
and then rolled around in the sand when they had about finished.

By the forth time they had had to rewash her, the girl's had caught on to
her game and wondered if all dragon's acted like this.... not that they were
complaining. They were having great fun pretending she was their dragon, and
it was more fun then having to do chores around the house after school.

Soon after they had finally gotten her washed and oiled to a beautiful
shine, Triss got the girl's to climb up on her back and they paraded around
the Warren grounds, causing those who saw them to chuckle at the sight.

A much needed chuckle for some after the events that had taken place a few
days ago. The comical sight of the girl's astride Triss, severed to remind
them that life went on. Even after tragedies had befallen them.

Someone that day coined a phrase that would stick with them long after they
had grown. He had called them the little Dragon Girls and the new nick name
stuck....

Turner
********

They made their good-byes to the newest member of the Warren after giving
him the five credit tour of the place, so he'd know where everything from
the stores to the dining hall to The Warren offices were located, and the as
quickly as he could, Turner led Kellie back to where Varie had patiently
been waiting on them, to give them a ride back up to Kellie's apartment.

But Turner had other ideas. He knew the first place Trevor or anyone else
would look for them was in the females riders home, and he didn't have any
plans for them to be interrupted again, so he asked Kellie to stay where she
was and wondered up to Varie and spoke softly to her, hoping she'd understand.

"Look Varie... I know your rider said you don't object to me and her...a...
well you know," he felt kind of silly explaining things to the dragon, not
knowing if she understood him or not. "So why don't you be a real pal and
when we take off, why not take us someplace where we won't be disturbed
again. Okay Pal!! Someplace like maybe that place you two go to the bath
sometimes.... I'd be in your debt and maybe find you a nice big juicy buck
the next time you're hungry. How's that sound?"

For an answer, the beast fed her rider a picture of where she wanted to go
just as soon as they were airborne. When the picture was firmly planet in
the riders mind, she was shocked when Varie took it upon herself to teleport
way from the Cleft... and to their bathing spot.

"What the hell!!" she complained when she recognized where they had ended
up. "You had some part in this didn't you?"

She had turned on Turner who sat there grinning.

"Well it's a fine thing when one's dragon plots against you! And another
when a person thinks that just because he knows how to kiss someone, he can
take liberties with my Dragon!" she muttered as she slid over the side of
the beast and looked back up at him.

"Well you wanted to see the place where I come to swim... you coming or
not?" she asked when he made no move to join her.

Slowly he slid one leg over the side and then let his body slide to the
ground to stand in front of her. His eyes never leaving hers for a moment.

"Varie is Not the one I was planing on taking liberties with," he told her
as his hand came up to touch her, but she moved back a step to evaded him.

"Oh no you don't!" she informed him, her arm came up, figure wagging in
front of her as she faced him. "You don't expect me to give in just like
that after you plotted against me with my own dragon."

"Well I thought I'd sweet talk you into forgiving me."

"It'll take more then some pretty words to get me to forgive you after what
you just did."

"Oh it will now," he chuckled, thinking how pretty she looked standing there
spitting fire. "And just what will it take?"

"For a payment I'll tell you." She repeated his own words back to him,
sounding very prim and proper.

"For a payment?" Oh he was beginning to like this and stepped towards her
ready to offer the payment he hoped she was talking about.

"Now... you just stay right there where you are you...you Rogue you!" she
sputtered as she retreated a couple more steps backwards.

"But Granny," he mocked, a meekness no one ever would believe of him. "I was
only going to give you your payment."

She glared at him.

"You didn't even wait to find out what my price was," she reminded him. Then
stood still as he closed the distance between them to tower over her.

"You mean it wasn't a kiss?" he raised his hand up to cover his heart, and
effected a hurt expression on his handsome face. Making him look years younger.

"Why would I want a kiss from you?" she taunted and then retreated a few
more steps when the look in his eyes changed to something more knowing.

"Because you can't resist me," he said smugly, lengthening his strides to
catch up to her and pull her into his arms. "Because I can turn you on and
you like it when I kiss you."

And proceeded to show her his words were no boast.

She put up a weak struggle just for show, but the moment his lips touched
hers, and his arm pulled her close, everything faded from her mind.

Everything, except for the pleasure his seeking lips wanted her to feel.

He was lost. Lost in a storm of emotions more intense then anything he'd
ever felt before. Lost in the feel of her softness pressing close to his body.

It was several minutes later before he could finally draw his mouth away
from hers. Only to pick her up in his muscular arms and start carrying her
towards the sheltered side of the basin where a small sandy beach could be
seen from where they were standing.

"I'll kill the next person who dares to interrupted us," he growled as he
bore her towards the sands.

Once there he slowly lowered her to the ground, but still didn't release
her. His lips swooped down to find hers once again. This time she made no
show of protest but melted into the arms that held her.

They sank slowly down into the sand, never once stopping the kiss. He made
sure she was comfortable before moving to turn so his body half covered
hers, one hand moving down over her arm and settled on her lower hip,
drawing her closer still and letting her feel what she did to him.

"Last chance Granny," he muttered as his lips moved to drop small kisses
over her upturned nose and each eye. "You can tell me to stop right now, and
I will... The choice is yours."

"You would do that if I asked Turner," she sounded surprised, but a little
pleased besides.

"Kellie... You're a beautiful woman and I'd be a fool not to want you the
way I do...but I would never take from you what you're not willing to give,"
he raised up on one elbow and looked down at her. "If you say you don't want
to go where this is heading, I'll stop right now and we can just go on as
friends. But I want you to be sure you know what you're getting into."

"Well...If I said stop, and you stopped...I'd never find out if you're as
good at...um, certain *things*...as you are at redoing bathrooms, would
I...?" her voice sounding sweet. "And you did a *halfway-decent* job on my
bathroom, I must admit..."

"Just *halfway-decent*? he grinned, his hand beginning to moved in a slow,
lazy, teasing fashion up and down the outer part of her thigh.

"Well I do remember being there and helping you with the work."

"Well then I guess you'll just *love* being here and helping me with the *fun*."

Kellie laughed. "Well, never let it be said that I didn't help out when
asked," she said. She took his hand and guided it farther up along her
thigh. "Need more help?" she teased.

"Think you're up for it?"

Kellie let out a little laugh. "I do believe I'm the one suppose to be
asking that question."

Turner threw his head back and let out a deep laugh, Kellie decided she
liked the sound of it and began to giggle like a young school girl.

Then her giggling stopped when she felt his hand moving slowly up over her
hip, and stomach, stopping once while their eyes met and a message past
between them. Then felt it continue on upwards to gently caress the side of
her right breast.

His touch so tender for a man so big.

His head lowed towards hers, just as his hand moved the fraction of an inch
it needed to fully enclose itself around the soft glob it had been seeking.

He felt/heard her moan at the contact and dared to venture further. His
fingers found the tiny buttons holding her shirt together and slowly began
to open them, while his lips move back to wrecking havoc with her lips.

By the time he'd finished with the last one, he raised himself up just
enough to look down at what he found hidden beneath the fabric of her shirt.

Slowly his hand moved to pull the two sides apart, revealing her creamy pale
skin to his sight.

Slowly his hand moved back to cover first one, then the other. "Gods you're
beautiful," he muttered as his lips once again found hers. He pulled her
into his arms, and leaned her back in to the warm sand beneath her, and took
her mouth tenderly, expertly and was almost undone by the sensations that
swept though him. It had been to long since he'd held or kissed a woman and
this one ignited a bonfire inside of him.

The taste and feel of her, the softness and warmth, the way her body was
melting, molding against his....

Turner deepened the kiss, exploring the tantalizing mysteries of her, and
then lowered his head to her breasts. He kissed small circles around the
soft mounds until at last his searching lips finally closed over the hard
peak of her nipple, first one then the other. He kissed them hungrily, first
one then it's twin, and heard her cry out from the pleasure.

"Oh Turner," It was a half whisper, half whimper as his lips and tongue on
her nipple sent a trill to the center of her hunger.

"Turner please..."

"I will," he smiled warmly as he lifted his head from her breast and reached
for the opening to the pants she wore...

Soon warm bare flesh was pressing against flesh and his hands were busy
working to bring her to the height of desire. He probed her and found she
was ready... but still his teasing touch drove her higher until finally she
cried out that she couldn't take any more.

Only then did he move over her, slid inside her. Desire denied to him for so
long, flowed within him at the thought of claming her. And her own hunger
for him- her small soft hands sliding over him urging him on, made him feel
things he had never experienced before.

When his climax came it was a feeling like nothing he's ever felt before. He
fought to hold off until he knew the woman he was with, had reached
fulfillment and then finally allowed himself to seek and find the same joy
in her arms.

It was some few minutes before he was finally able to move away from the
softness that had pillowed him after their passion had been spent.

Rolling carefully to the side, he reached out and pulled her back into his
arms and held her cuddled against his warmth.

"Wow!" she muttered turning to look back at him.

"Yea Granny," he chuckled, nestling his chin in the curve of her neck.
"WOW.. I guess your still up for it yet."

"And you ain't so bad yourself... for a kid."
