[On the green, (let's call this Day 1)]
> "I'd try to, but as it is, I'm not scheduled for patrol now," Katrina
> replied with a grin, "Azure and I are going on a short get away for part
> of the day. You.." Katrina had to stop herself from saying,'are welcome to
> come along,' but thought that sounded to forward, so she stumbled her words
> and said something like, 'ah, see you around,' and turned away hoping she
> wasn't blushing. Somewhere in her thoughts a dragon was chuckling.
"Probably," P'ker replied, "since we're staying for a while. Maybe I'll
run into you at dinner?"
"Maybe," Katrina responded as she swung up into the saddle.
P'ker watched as Azure lept into the sky and grew smaller as she flew
away from the warren. After a few minutes, Azure teleported away.
P'ker looked down at the ground and chuckled. He liked Katrina. She
had the right combination of shy and sassy. Unlike her partner who had
far too much sassy.

[Day 2 - Afternoon at a quiet mountain lake]
> "So I do," Trevor agreed, putting his arm around Cynthia to
> help hold her
> steady on this rather precarious perch. What happened next took
> Trevor as much by surprise as it must have Cynthia...as, without
> really thinking about, he leaned over and kissed her.
>
> Time seemed to stand still for that moment as he looked into
> Cynthia's
> eyes, and he couldn't have said how long the kiss lasted...but he
> was sure he could hear the sound of a dragon's satisfied chuckle in
> the background...
Their lips parted after a few moments and Cynthia reached out to brush a
few wet strands of hair away from Trevor's eyes. "Trevor," she said,
her voice barely above a whisper, "kiss me again."
He smiled and leaned toward her until their lips met. Cynthia leaned
toward him and their lips pressed together more firmly. Cynthia opened
her mouth slightly and Trevor's tongue sought hers. Trevor's tongue
entered her mouth and reveled in the contrasts between the rough and
smooth surfaces.
Suddenly the world shifted and the two were plunged into the warm waters
of the lake. Their bodies parted suddenly and Cynthia screamed as she
plunged into the water. She went below the surface for a moment and
kicked her way back up through. She shrieked, and yelled, "Syren! What
are you thinking!"
Syren simply ignored her and swam toward shore, <I think it's time to
lounge around basking in the sun. You'll just have to find another
boat.>
"Dragons!" Cynthia exclaimed.
Trevor laughed and swam over to her, "I think she just wanted to see us
both wet."
"Well, she succeeded," Cynthia said with a wicked grin spreading across
her face.
"What?" Trevor asked.
"Race you to shore," Cynthia said, then she turned and started swimming
for the bank as fast as she could.
Trevor was startled for a moment and then began giving chase. Cynthia's
head start began to slowly shrink. She kicked and stroked smoothly
ahead of him, and never looked back. That's why she's the Warren Lady,
he mused, it must come from the job.
The bank was rapidly approaching, and they could see Syren sitting on
the grass watching them with an ammused look on her face. trevor
realized that he would never be able to pass Cynthia with such a short
distance to go. Instead he reached out, grabbed her ankle and pulled
her toward him.
She cried out a startled exclamation as he pulled his way along her
body. Their swimming faultered, but Trevor put his feet down on the
sandy bottom of the lake and held Cynthia close to him.
"That wasn't fair," she chastised him, "I was going to win."
"I know."
"You also scared the wits out of me when you grabbed me. I thought we
were going to drown."
"This lake is interesting topographically. It's got a broad sandy shelf
around the perimeter and it gets sharply deeper in the middle," Trevor
explained, "You don't find lakes like this very often."
"Trevor."
"Yes, Cynthia?"
"Stop explaining and kiss me."
"If you insist," he said softly and he leaned toward her and their lips
touched lightly.
Cynthia's hand ran up his back and she laced her fingers in his hair.
She leaned toward him and kissed him more firmly. Their lips parted and
she whispered, we should get out of the lake so our clothes can dry."
"You're always so practical," he replied.
Holding hands they waded out of the water and on to the grassy bank.
Cynthia released his hand and said, "I'll be right back."
He watched as she dissapeared from view among some broad leaved trees.
A few moments he heard some loud rustling, and he called out, "Cynthia,
are you all right?"
"I'm fine," she replied, "I'll be back in a moment." The rustling
continued for another minute and Cynthia emerged from the foliage
carrying her clothes in one hand and holding a large, multi-fronded fern
leaf in front of her in the other.
Trevor saw her and burst out laughing, "What is that?" he asked between
peals of laughter.
"Well," she said with a trace of indignation, "it wouldn't do for a
Warren Lady to go parading around naked, would it?" She knelt down and
began to lay her wet clothes out on a rock in the sun to dry.
Trevor watched her for a moment and then said, "I'll be right back."
She grinned broadly and watched him walk into the foliage.
He returned a few minutes later and found her lying in the soft grass,
with her eyes closed and the leaf laying on top of her. He laid his
clothes on the rock, walked over and sat down next to you. "So, is this
the most unusual thing that has ever happened to you?"
Cynthia opened her eyes and looked up at him, "In general, I would
classify you as the most unusual thing to ever happen to me."
"Hey, that's not fair."
She sat up, and the leaf fell aside. He saw for the first time, the
soft curvature of her breasts and the contrasts between her nipples and
the surrounding skin. She tilted his head up with a touch of her
finger, "Trevor, I've never felt this way about anyone before," she
laughed, "And I've certainly never done anything like this with anyone
before."
He leaned over and kissed her. She reached out and pulled him in close
to her, and her breasts brushed against the soft hair of his chest. The
touch sent an electric shock through her, and a soft moan escaped her
lips.
She lay back in the grass again and Trevor lay next to her, their legs
intertwined. He kissed her neck and under her chin, and her skin
tingled with each gentle touch. He worked his way down her body with
light kisses, pausing at each nipple to gently coax it into a firm
peak. He continued lower and touched the point of his tongue into her
belly button. Then her returned to kiss her lips by trailing the tip of
his tongue up her stomache, between her breasts and up her neck.
Their lips hungrily and Cynthia rolled over on top of him. She sat for
a moment on his chest before lowing herself on to his erect manhood.
She paused like that, just savoring the intimate contact before she
began to move her hips up and down, slowly at first, and then with
increasing speed.
Her breathing began to fall into rhythm with her movements and soon it
was coming in short, sharp bursts. Trevor ran his hands over her body,
and each touch sent sparks of sensation into her brain.
Several minutes later they lay cubbled together in the warm sun, their
passion spent, but their desire just beginning.

[Meanwile, back at the warren]
> "If you could just tell me where this Turner is, I will be off." That was
> the most C'aranth had said in a long time. And he should have said it at
> his Warren, not here, not to him. The Dr didn't deserve it, but C'aranth
> couldn't stop it once it began. "C'aranth looked at the ground. "I am
> sorry·"
> "No it is ok."
> "Can't you even treat me like a real person. Anyone else would talk to
> you like that you would at least accept an apology. I was an ass just now
> and it is ok." C'aranth grabbed his bags. "Where is Turner?"
"He's probably working on the rider apartments today. I sorry, but I
don't know exactly where he is," S'lomon replied.
"That's all right, I'll find him," C'aranth replied.
S'lomon watched the young man walk away. He didn't understand why they
found it so hard to open up. The theory was that talking about a
problem made it possible to find a solution, and yet he was faced with
both C'aranth and Lenna who refused to talk about what was bothering
them.
S'lomon sighed, he wasn't sure if it was harder being a healer or a
rider.
NRPG:
Darren: Welcome to Cleft. I must say that your timing is interesting.
Since I took over about a year ago, Cleft has been a fairly chaste place
to be (by DL standards). Recently things have been heating up, as you
can see from recent posts. There's another rider, and NPC named R'bert
who recently lost his dragon. I think he and C'aranth will meet in my
next post (unless you get to it before me).
John: There's a tag to you in here somewhere.
Kris (and all): Send your bio update when you can. I'll probably work
on the web page on April 25, since Beth will be away all day.
Respectfully submitted,
Warrenlady Cynthia - Cleft Warren
