Day 2(Evening of the fish fry)

 Katrina was in her apartment working on a piece for Yarik and Danki's
joining party tomorrow. It was a small sculpture made of strips of silver
metal with blue stones-it depicted a cliff with a waterfall.  When Lenna
invited Kat she hadn't mentioned gifts, but somehow Katrina just thought it
would be nice. And lately Katrina had had the time to do the intricate
metal
and gem work that she liked and had trained for before joining with Azure.
Katrina was doing a tricky joining with her small torch when she heard
Azure:

 <Trissana says her rider has invited us to a fish fry>

 Katrina who had been deep in concentration, dropped her tool nearly
burning herself as it fell onto the stone table, and went out as Azure
bespoke her.

 Katrina replied <Fish fry, ehgads, I almost fried myself when you
called me. I hope I didn't break anything>. Checking she finds her device
is alright and the bit she was working still intact.

 <So when is this fish fry>, sent Katrina?

 <Now my rider on the green. I've seen the fish it is big. I believe the
WarrenLady caught it>.

 Katrina put everything away and headed to the fish fry. She was amazed
at how many people were about,*Must be a biiiiig fish*, she thought with
a smile. Katrina went over to Trevor and Cynthia near the fire pit.

 "Good Evening to you two. So did you save anything from me," Katrina said
with a grin?

 "Well it was tough," said Trevor,"Cynthia had to do a little WarrenLady
magic to make sure there was enough."  A grin spread over Trevor's face as
he looked at Cynthia who was laughing at some little joke between the two
of them. Before Katrina could respond, Trissana caught her eye. The young
dragon was hopping near the fire pit looking from Kat to the fire and back
again.

 "What is she on about Trevor," said Katrina?

 "She wants you to know that she helped make the fire. She was really proud
when I gave her coal and she poduced a flame."

 Katrina laughed, "Great to hear that. Tell her she did a fine job."

 As Trevor bespoke Triss he rolled his eyes.

 "What is it," piped up Kat?

 "She is asking about cupcakes again." Katrina laughed, and Trevor grinned
as he spoke. Both of them recalled Azure's little vice and the trouble
it caused not to long ago.

 Katrina stopped laughing and said, "Tell Triss to ask Azure, she can
tell Triss alllll about cupcakes."

 As Katrina went off to mingle she coudn't help but think how different and
happy Trevor seemed now then he was before. She knew his involvement with
Cynthia was a factor. And Cynthia seemed alot happier to. Katrina paused in
her thought just waiting for Azure to say something about Kat's limited
relationships with the warren men at present, but her dragon was silent.

 <Azure what are you up to? Are you still around>?

 A groggy voice replied,<I'm just dozing. What is it>?

 Katrina smiled, hoping Azure didn't suspect her previous thoughts, and
replied,<Oh nothing really my dragon. Nothing at all>.

 <Right I'm going back to sleep>.

 After Azure signed off Katrina became suspicious of her dragon,
especially when she saw P'ker glance in her direction and smile. And
Kat wouldn't be surprised if Lonnie wondered about her to.

 And somewhere near the far end of the green a female iridescent blue
dragon was chuckling.

Day 3(The Joining party)

 The day had gone by quickly. Katrina had barely finished her gift for
the party when it was time to leave. Katrina wrapped the gift well so it
would not only look nice but withstand the trip down from her apartment.

 Upon arriving at the party Katrina met up with Lenna like they had
arranged earlier after patrol. Katrina's partner looked at the bundle
in Kat's hands.

 "What is that," said Lenna?

 "It is just a little something. You didn't mention anything about gifts,
but I had the time to do some metal and gem work. I have backround in
such work. I trained as a craftsmen before joining with Azure."

 "Kat you never mentioned that. Let's go show the celebrating
couple," Lenna said as she lead Katrina to her parents.

 After giving her gift, which was graciously accepted, with praise for
it's craftsmanship, Katrina did the rounds with Lenna to meet and greet
the other guests. After Lenna joined up with B'rand, Katrina continued on
her own chatting with the friends and family of Danki and Yarik.

 Katrina had to admit to herself as she mingled with the other guests that
she felt awkward about being there, afterall this was a family event, but
she didn't let her uneasiness show. Everyone was pleasant to her, and there
were other non-family members about to, but Kat just felt out of place. She
had known the family for only a short time, and mainly from her association
with Lenna, and Lonnie. Her thoughts were interrupted when Lonnie wondered
over to her.

 "So are you getting to know everyone? You know there will be a test later to
see if you recall everyone's names," Lonnie said with a smile.

 Katrina laughed and said,"You know I think I could handle that. I am sure
it would be alot easier then taking Lenna to those caves tomorrow."

 "So she is still up to it then," said Lonnie?

 "Well she did give me her word, and knowing Lenna I don't believe
she will go back on it. Maybe you could round up some of your siblings
to help get Lenna to the caves and to help ease her apprehension."

 "I look into that. We could make it another family get together
Lonnie," said with a grin. "And speaking of get togethers are you going to
have one soon?"

 Katrina looked confused and replied,"What do you mean?"

 "Sorry, I guess I should have been specific. I understand that your birthing
day is coming up in a few days, and I was wondering if your family was coming
or if you were going to do anything for that day."

 Realization came to Katrina then, Lonnie was right but she hadn't told
anyone. "How did you... Kat trailed off as she knew who snitched--Azure!

 Before Katrina or Lonnie could say anymore about the matter they heard
a commotion, people hurring past, and Dan'yar call loudly for a healer.
Upon arriving where the majority of the guests had gathered, Katrina saw
Brisse being lead away to the med center and knew what was up. Kat silently
wished the Junior Queen to have a safe, quick delivery and a healthy baby.

Many hours later (early morn).

 Katrina was sleeping deeply when her dragon's excited and loud
mind voice woke her.

 <Good news, wake up>!

 Kat rolled over and growled to herself at being awaken so early after her
late night. Because of her drowsiness she didn't get what her dragon was
on about, and sent:

<What is it? I'm trying to sleep here>?

<Tymor's rider has.., there was a brief pause, a mumble and then,
...has delivered>.

 <You were going to say clutched weren't you>?

 Azure sent,<I was not. And by the way the hatchl..., a pause and then,
...the child is fine as is the Junior Queen. It is a boy.>

 Katrina giggled to herself at Azure's stumblings and sent, <Thank you,
that is great news. Send my congratulation via Tymor. Now I'm going back
to sleep. Today is the day Blanchie's rider is returning to the caves, and
I need all the sleep I can get>.

 Katrina made a mental note to visit Brisse and the baby later. Kat then
put her pillow over the back of her head and attempted to go back to sleep.

All: Here is my latest. It doesn't cover much ground but at least everyone
knows I'm still about. When I write again it will be the rest of day 4 and
the return to the caves with Lenna and probably anything else that comes up
before then.

Barb: Have any idea's about the caves, send them along to me. And I also
hope I got Lenna's parent's names right.

And Alton: I hope you had a Happy Birthday. And I am sending Katrina's
updated bio after this post.

 Boy it is getting late here, I better get everything sent-hope I
haven't made any errors in this.
