Abby
*****

"How is she?" Dan'yar asked the Telnor healer sometime later after she'd
been working on the sick Blanchie for awhile.

"I think we caught it before the gas could do to much damage to her system,
but it'll take her sometime to recover since she was out there so long
without help."
Abby knew she had to be totally honest with him about the dragons chances.
They'd been friends far to long for her to try to anything else.

"Have you been able to get anything from her about what happened back at the
caves this morning?" B'rand asked, wishing for anything that would help him
to find out where his mate was. The not knowing was driving him crazy.

"I'm sorry, no," Abby turned to look at him. She could understand what the
man was going through and deeply regretted not being able to give him better
news. "But so far all I'm getting is feels from her. No real pictures from
her mind, just feelings of lost, anger and fear. She knows her rider is
missing and is feeling fear that she can't get to her. I can sense that from
her, but nothing more."

"How long is it going to take for that stuff you gave her to work! The
longer she can't tell us anything the longer my mate is out there alone with
those mad men!!" he all but shouted and Dan'yar reached out to clasp his
arm, and the man standing beside her started forward, but Abby waved them
both off. She was in no danger from this man who's only thoughts were for
the safety of the woman he loved.

"She's getting better with each hour that passes by, but I can't try and
hurry the healing by giving her anything more until it's time or that could
end up hurting her more than helping her."

"Just keep helping her Abby. That's all we ask right now. As long as
Blanchie is alive we know Lenna is too," he reminded the man standing next
to him as well as the others. "It's the best hope we have right now. We'll
find her!"

"That and Triss, if she can find where the yellow dragon has gone," a voice
said from behind them and they turned to see Cynthia and Trevor standing there.

"Triss is more than willing to try and thinks she can do it," Trevor told them.

"Then let's get to it!" B`rand spoke up, his eyes pleading with the man for
any help that would find his mate and bring her back home to him.

[tag John.... ]

After they had left, the man beside her touched her arm to get her attention.

*Why didn't you tell them you are almost out of the antidote?* he wanted to
know.

"Because it would make them lose some hope of finding Lenna before it's to
late," she told him. she hadn't wanted to keep that part from them, because
B`rand's emotions were strung out enough for now without having this to
worry about too.

*They have to be told* Marcus signed to her.

"Have to be told what?" they turned as Farr'in came up behind them. His new
partner Andahar, stood beside him as he looked from one to the other, then
back at the healer. "What is it that you're not telling us Abby?"

Abby turned to look at her mate, who nodded his head and signed. *Tell him.*

Knowing Marcus was right, she turned back to Farr'in.

"I may not have enough of the antidote I need to help Blanchie," she finally
let it out. "I used most of what I had the time Sabbith was sick with the
gas poisoning and at the time I guess I just forgot to re supply it."

"So what does this mean?" Farr'in asked.

"That unless I get more, I've only got enough to get her through the night,"
Abby admitted.

"The we go and find more of what you need to have enough to see Blanchie
completely healed. Come on get your riding jacket on."

"I can't go!" Abby cried when he grabbed her arm and started leading her
towards Tergath. "I need to stay here with Blanchie."

"Then what do you suggest we do?"

She turned to Marcus and they conversed in a quick round of signing. He
nodded his head and went to his dragon, coming back a few minutes later with
a book he'd retrieved from the dragons saddle pack, and Abby took the book
from him and leafed through it until she found the page she wanted.

Marcus nodded his head and signed something to her to quick for Farr'in to
follow. Then Abby pointed at something and when they agreed, Marcus reached
for his jacket.

"Marcus can take you where you need to go," she told Farr'in. "He knows
about herbs and plants and knows what to look for."

"Fine. you up for a little trip to gather what we need Andahar?" the stocky
man turned to his new patrol partner.

"Have gathered planets before," the man shrugged with a slight smile. "One
more time will not matter. If to save the life of Dragon I will gather more
planets."

"Good man," Farr'in nodded in approval. "Then let's go."

It didn't take them long to get to when they were going, and even less to
find the planet they needed to make up the antidote. Farr'in had Tergath
mark the spot in his memory in case they might need to come back for more.
Just a feeling he had, but it was always better to be prepared.

It took the combined efforts of Abby, Marcus and Andahar, once Abby learned
he had some knowledge of mixing herbs, to make up enough of the drug to last
the for the next few days she figured it would take to see Blanchie well.

Farr'in in the mean time had gone with Meena to tell they parents what had
happened. Arly and Leyean had been there when they arrived so after they'd
both spent a few minutes hugging their son, Farr'in had Tergath ask the
girls to take Demee outside for a bit so he could talk to their grandparents.

"Okay now tell me what is wrong," Danki turned to him as soon as the door
was closed behind the kids. "And don't you dare tell me nothing young man. I
know you to well. I raised you!"

"It's Lenna mother," he told her and then reached for Meena's hand for
support as he told them what had been learned about her disappearance and
Blanchie's being found.

"Oh gods no," Danki cried softly and didn't fight it when her mates arms
came around her.

"What's being done to find her?" Yarik asked his son as he sought to comfort
his wife and hold his own fears at bay.

"Everything that can be done," Meena answered for him. "We've rider's out
looking for her now and a dragon healer from Telnor is here now working on
Blanchie to help make her well again."

"Abbien" Yarik nodded his head without having to be told who the healer was.
He'd know when he heard the name of the warren she'd come from.

"You're going to find her right? Aunt Lenna, she'll be okay?"

The adults in the room turned to see three upset children standing in the
doorway. They had all forgotten about the kids ability to *speak* to the
dragons, and it only hit Farr'in just then that that's what happened. He
hadn't told Tergath to keep it quiet, and suspected Meena hadn't said
anything to Vonn either.

Meena went to pick up Demee while Farr'in went to his nieces and pulled them
into his arms. "We're going to find her. I promise." He said looking at all
three of them.

Danki having pulled herself together came and took Demee from Meena as Yarik
went to his granddaughters. She looked at her son and his mate. "Go.. you
both have work to do. Find my daughter and bring her home."

"We will Danki," Meena hugged her then Farr'in was pulling her out the door
so they could go meet up with the other searchers.

"We have to find her Farr'in. I hate seeing your mother so upset."

"We'll find her love. Somehow, someway we'll find her."

Lenna
*******

Her head hurt and her mouth felt as if it was stuffed with cotton balls. It
hadn't taken her long to figure out that her hands and feet were bound
together and she was laying on some sort of bed.

At first she couldn't remember what had happened to her or how she came to
be tied up as she was. She tried to reach out with her mind for the
comforting presence of Blanchie, but the pain in her head was to much for
her to bear and she slowly slipped back into darkness.

She didn't know how much later it was when she awoke the second time, but
the it must have been the sound of the angry voices shouting in the room
where she laid that woke her.

She could tell they were fighting and figured out after a few words it was
she they were fighting over.

"She's mine and you'll not take her from me!" she heard one man shout then a
second voice, one more calmly spoken, but deadly all the same replied.

"I have spoken. You know my terms. The girl will be returned to you for your
sick pleasures when you have delivered what you have promised me. Until then
she will be my guest when she finally wakes."

"You can't do that!" the first man shouted, and Lenna peeking through half
closed eyes could see his hands pulling into to fist as if wanting to fight.

"I am in charge here need you forget that!" the second man reminded him. "I
can always have Shamir give you a brief reminder of that if you wish!"

"That won't be necessary," the first man backed down, but she could tell he
was still upset.

"Good. Then I want the girl brought to me when she awakes.. and need I also
remind you that I do not want her harmed until such time as you deliver the
eggs to me and this Warren."

"Damn crazy son of a bitch," the first man muttered as the other man left
the room. She heard something shatter against the far wall and flinched.

He must have seen her move because she felt his hand in her hair yanking her
head back up till she was looking up at him.

"So you're awake huh?" he commented then let her go. "Seems you and I are
gonna have to wait to get to know each other a little better, but it won't
be to long now."

His eyes didn't hide the meaning of his words as they raked over her body,
pausing for more time then she liked on her breast which were straining
against the shirt she wore.

"It can wait forever as far as I'm concerned," Lenna's tried to say but her
voice came out sounding rough. Her throat mouth was dry and it hurt to speak.

"No my dear. Not forever, and I'm sure a bitch like you would enjoy what I
have planned for you. we could have such fun together," his face looked
flushed as his hand came out to cruelly grab her left breast, squeezing it
to get his point across.

"Screw you Asshole!!" she choked out and tried to pull away from him. She
couldn't let him near her, she'd fight him with every breath she had in her
to safe her baby.

"Oh you will my dear. You will, and I'll enjoy every minute of being inside
you while you try to fight me off." He laughed, but let her go. He felt
himself growing hard at the thought of her beneath him, and grab the front
of her shirt ripping it part way open before a voice behind him reminded him
that he'd have to wait.

"Since she's awake now..." the voice was saying. "We'll take her to the room
Lord Khazeen has ready for her to stay in while she's here as his guest."

"Very well. Take her!" the man was angered now at the thought of losing her
before he could sate his lust on her, but knew better then to refuse to let
them take her.

"We'll have time enough to get to know each other soon enough bitch," he
reached out and grabbed her chin, pinning her head in place while his lips
came down hard in a punishing kiss before he let her go. "Something to
remind you of the fun to come."

"I'll see you dead first!!" she swore as he moved away and was replaced by
two others, who cut the bounds on her feet then helped her up.

They had to help support her as her legs refused to work, but led her from
the room without speaking and took her down a long maze of halls until they
finally came to the room they were looking for.

Inside she was greeted by a man she didn't recognize, but something inside
her feared this man.

"Who are you?" her voice still sounded horse as she was led inside and over
to a bed next to where the man was standing.

"Your ..host.. for the next few days," he told her, his face never changing
it's expression. "You'll be well treated while you're here unless you cause
me any problems and try to escape."

"Am I to be left tied up like this the whole time I'm here?" she asked.

"Not at all my dear rider," the man's face slowly grew into a smile that
scared her even more, as the men who'd brought her here cut the bindings
from around her wrist. So she didn't see the chain in his hand until it was
snapped in place around her wrist, the other end anchored to the head board
of the bed.

He motioned for the others to leave then turned back to her.

"But I think I will take some precautions just to make sure you don't try
anything you'll regret. You'll have room to move around this room but not as
far as the door. We wouldn't want you to get hurt now would we?" Something
in his eyes alerted her that the man was crazy. "I'll see that something is
brought to you. Food and maybe some fresh clothing."

"Who are you?" she cried out as he was leaving the room.

"The one who decides weather you live or die," he replied then the door
closed behind him.

<<Blanchie!!!!>> Lenna called out needing to feel her life mates presence in
her mind. Nothing seemed so helpless or bad as long as the dragon was with
her, but when she heard no answering thoughts enter her mind, she became
very fearful.

<<BLANCHIE!!!!>> she screamed but still no reply was forthcoming. Only the
fact that she could feel some small presence of life still with her kept her
from going crazy. She didn't understand why the dragon wouldn't answer her,
but knew she was still alive. And with that thought, hope was still alive
with in her that some how someone would find her.

She just hoped help didn't come to late.

==========================

John hope I didn't go to far with your crazy God-wanna-be...I just
wanted to get something of Lenna out before you posted your next one...

Arlene, Farr'in will come to respect and admire Andahar because of his
willingness to help. He's made a true friend because of it...

Alton: the egg theft should be soon. I think John said he had one
more post to do first then onto the fun!!! Think you can wait that
long <chuckle>
