Hiya... this is what happens when Vascone/Da'ntray goes off to fill his
promise to bring back more eggs to the crazy God Wannabies's Warren.....
The wilders are being sent there by Vascone to cause trouble at Daere Warren
so he can get in easier to do his thing.....

[ The Township of Triylar ]

<*WILDERS ARE ATTACKING TRYLAR!!!!*> Breynath screamed as he and his rider
Dagion, teleported back into the skies above the Warren. 

They'd been home on a brief visit to see his family when a man on a runnier
had stopped by his family home and told them the news. 

"I've got to go warn the Warren and get some help!!" Dagion had told his
father after hearing the news. He'd grabbed his riding jacket and was racing
for his dragon even before the messenger had a chance to finish his tale.

He had to get to Daere and get help.

Viktroy was in the process of eating the third buck Flerrion had been good
enough to have brought her that morning, when she first heard the alert.
Getting up quickly, she hastened to the cave entrance, followed by Kalindeth
and both Queens began calling for the Wings to report. 

Jayleigh had been in her office working on the seemly never ending paper
work that came through her office door, when she heard the Queens cries and
felt her dragons thoughts echoing in her head. She was on her feet and out
of her office flying down the hall towards the doors leading out onto the
green when she saw Tair'n leaving his office ahead of her in the hall. 

"Tair'n !!" she called out and he slowed just enough for her to catch up
with him, but didn't stop his flight. 
  
"I need to hurry to get alpha Wing flight ready Leigh," he told her as they
hit the door and hurried through it into the morning heat. 

"Do you know what you're flying into?" she asked as she followed him to
where his Wing was assembling.

"Yes... Dagion and Breynath did a quick fly over of Triylar before heading
back here. They reported that five wilder's are heating things up a bit or
the town."

They were coming up to Amadith just then and she knew she'd soon lose the
chance to wish him well if she hesitated much longer. 

"Fly well and bring yourself and your Wing home safely," she told him and
then stepped back as he vaulted onto the waiting dragons back. 

She saw him turn briefly to stare back at her, nod his head, and then turn
all of his attentions back on the matters at hand. Next she saw him raise
his hand up and give the Wing the order to lift.

As Jayleigh stood there watching they took to the air. Pride filled her as
the dragons lifted up in perfect formation and winged upwards until they
achieved the required height needed to teleport safely, and in the next
second they were gone.

<<Troy contact Sprarroe and have him tell his rider to be ready just in case
they're needed,>> she sent the thought out to her Queen, knowing that it was
better to be prepared for the worst then to be caught unaware. With Beta
Wing ready, there would be no delay in getting help out to where it might be
needed.

She was soon joined by an out of breath Danika who asked her what was happening.

"Wilder's attacking Triylar," Jayleigh told her as they both turned back to
comfort their Queens. "Tair'n's taken Alpha Wing out to find out what's
happening and Ja'ks is readying Beta just in case they're needed."

"What about Gamma?" Danika asked, moving to wrap her arms around her Queens
neck as she began to send her soothing thoughts. 

<<Troy?>>

<Javangath's rider knows what he is suppose to do,> Troy informed her rider. 

<<Just make sure he knows he's to keep Gamma near the Warren to protect us.>>

<They are not far away now. They are patrolling the skies around us and
keeping a good eye out for any wilder's who might dare to slip this far.
Banta's rider is seeing to the trainees helping at the coal bins.>

She wondered when her father had shown up, but shoved the thought to the
back of her mind and turned back to her Junior. "I need you to go by the med
center and make sure they have everything set up in case any of the riders
are injured, and make sure the extra apartments are cleaned and set up in
case we might need to house some of the towns people when this is over."

"Yes Jayleigh," Danika looked relieved to have something to do. 

Leigh saw the girl frown, look back towards her Queen, and knew they were
talking things over. She was relieved a minute later when the rider seemed
to have won the argument and hurried off to take care of things.

She turned to head towards the kitchen to make sure her mother was getting
things ready there and to make sure others were going about doing what they
had been trained to do during any and all attacks.

She hated the waiting.

Some time had gone by and still there had been no word from any of the
riders in Alpha Wing. When the second alert about the attack on yet another
of the city's in Daere's Domain came in, Ja'ks had taken Beta Wing and gone
off to find out what in the hell was happening. 

Two different groups of Wilder's attacking at the same time... or the same
group trying to weaken the Warrens defenses by drawling the riders away? She
didn't know and wouldn't until someone reported back. The only thing that
kept her from jumping on Troy and teleporting herself there to find out, was
the fact that Troy would not leave her eggs at this time. Not with a new
threat facing them, but Gamma was still patrolling the area around the
Warren and would do so no matter what. 

If any group of Wilder's even tried to come near the place then the Warren
dragons would flame them to hell and beyond.
 
<NO!!!!!! STAY WAY!!!! MY EGGS!!! LEAVE MY EGGS ALONE!!!!>

Gods NO!! Not here... not now... 

Jayleigh's legs suddenly felt to weak to support her.
Everything started to go black around her when she heard the Queens angry
cries shouting in her mind. It was all she could do to keep standing. 

Not the eggs!!! Gods please not the eggs!!!

<<TROY!!!!>> she shouted and stood up from behind her desk, meaning to go to
her Queen, but the world around her began to spin.

Hands supported her as she stumbled while trying to get to Troy in the
hatching Caves. All around her she could hear mournful cries and angry roars
from the few dragons still on the green trying to combat the chaos and
destruction going on around them.

She fought hard to keep her mind together. 

<MY EGGS!!!!! STAY AWAY!!! YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM !!!! NO YOU....>

<<TROY!!!! Tell me what's happening!!!>>

Oh Gods!!! Pulling on some long forgotten extra strength, Jayleigh fought
down the panic that was filling her as she hurried to get to her Queen. She
could see hordes of dragons she didn't know arrowing for the hatching caves
and disappearing inside before coming back out seconds later. 

Several of the Warren dragons were trying to protect the two Queens but the
wilder's helping their friends were to many for them. 

No!!

Not wilder's. Wilder's didn't have human riders on their backs. These
weren't Wilder's then attacking her Warren, but Rogues. But who!!!! They
hadn't have any problems with Rogue's in some time.

It didn't matter who. They were here and attacking . she felt fear such as
she had never known enter her body at the thought of something happening to
Troy!

Gamma!!! Where was Gamma Wing!!! 

Jayleigh and the ones with her got to the hatching cave just in time to see
two of the wilder's turn to leave. But not before they noticed each held a
hardening dragon egg between their claws as they took off. 

Troy tried to go after them, but two dragons, a deep blue and a brown were
blocking her way. She tried to push past them, but the sickening sweet
smelling stuff the human had thrown into the cave ahead of them, was somehow
effecting her movements and thinking. Behind her Leigh could see the other
Queen being blocked in the same way. 

She smelt something funny in the air and shook her head to throw off the
last effects of her panic. A human cried out behind her and Leigh turned
swiftly, her hand instinctively drawling the knife on her belt as she faced
the worst night mear of her life. 

Her escort was now lying on the ground, his blood seeping into a pool
underneath him from the knife wound in his stomach. Jayleigh looked up to
see the man's attacker standing over him, grinning crazily back at her.
Behind the man she could see the evidence of the destruction the wilder's
had made of the hatching sands. Every where she looked she could see broken
eggs, and the half formed bodies of the dragon hatchlings laying twisted and
torn amongst the shards. 

"VASCONE!!" someone called out and the man's attention was taken from her
for a split second. A second she could have used to move against him, but
something was holding her back. He mind just didn't seam to be working quite
right.

"Vascone we have to get out of here NOW!!" the man shouted when he'd gotten
no response to his first call. "
"The Warren beast are coming back!!"

No... not Vascone! 

Da'ntry!!

How could he be here? He was suppose to be dead. Wasn't he??? But no.. He
was alive!!

"You'll die for this you son of a bitch!!" She shouted at him and moved to
get into a better position to attack him. She was going to make sure the
bastard didn't leave this cave alive!! Not after what he had just did.

"No one to save you now bitch!" he spit out and began advancing towards her.
"Just as no one can save the eggs. I've dreamed of this moment everyday
since I last saw you and no one is going to stop me from having you now."

"You're wrong Da'ntry," she bit out and raised the knife a little higher.
Her body shifted into a fighting stance, readying it to respond to any move
he made. "You never had me before and you won't this time either. I'll kill
you first you son of a bitch for what you did here!!"

They circled each other. Each trying to find an opening to push their
advantage. She knew she'd only have one chance and had to make the best of
it if she was going to save herself and her Queen. She couldn't make any
mistakes. This man was crazy. She could see it in his eyes. 

"VASCONE!!! We got to get out of here!! Warren dragons are here!!" a man's
voice called out  a second time diverting their attentions for the split
second it took for Da'ntray to find an opening. 

"They'll be a next time bitch and no one will be able to help you then," he
growled out. She tried to move out of the way of the fist coming her way,
but her body refused to respond in time and his fist connected with her chin
sending her to the ground and then all she knew was darkness. 

Da'ntray stood looking down at the fallen women for a minute longer. He
wanted to just pick her up and take her with him, but knew he wouldn't have
time to haul her over to Keppo and load her on him before the Warren dragons
cut off his escape. 

So for now, he'd leave her where she laid, but soon. He'd proven he could
get back into the Warren anytime he wanted, and the next time, she wouldn't
be so lucky.

He turned then and raced for his brown. Mounted then gave the order to
leave. They were gone before the Daere riders could do much damage to the
retreating Rogues and were gone with the eggs they'd come for.

'To bad,' he thought as Keppo took them between. He sure would have liked to
have seen the look on that bitches face when she realized what he had done
to her. 

She wouldn't be so damn high and mighty now. If losing the eggs didn't bring
her way down and make her think she'd failed in her job.... ah well.. there
would be another time for them.

Okay all.... have some fun with it... Troy wasn't much help with protecting
her eggs because of the gas the bad guys threw into the cave ahead of them.
I figured they had used some kind of antidote that let them get by
unaffected by it.... 

Jayleigh was also gassed but not as bad as Troy.... I figure the other Queen
would have felt some of the effects of the gas but being in the back of the
cave and having the wind blow it back outward... well Morgie you can decided
what happened with her. Troy wasn't harmed that bad because of the same wind
thing blowing the gas out of the cave... just enough to make her a bit
sluggish. She'll be fine.

Of all Troy's eggs.. only one was left whole and untouched... all but 20-23
of the others where destroyed 
by the Da'ntray's riders who were mainly after Troy's eggs to hurt Jayleigh.
The rest of Troy's eggs were egg- napped and are not to be found.....
