Ankaras apartment

  Ankar fell to the floor with a hard thump and looked up at the pearl dragon
with a wince. "what did you do that for? I was sleeping." She complained
grumpily.

<so I noticed.> The dragon said with a vocal smirk. <but your little friend
here is quite insistant that she is hungry. In fact she tried to eat my tail!>
Trissana said waving her tail under Ankaras nose to show her the small bite
mark.

 "Oh dear! I had forgotten to feed them, they must be starving!" She said as
she looked past Trissana to see the still sleaping Ivee who was curled into a
ball.

 Ankara got up and got the bowl of meat out of the locker and began to feed
Eness who slurped down the gobbets greedily. Trissana sat down on her haunches
watching with interest. After a while Ivee woke up and waddled over helping
herself to some of the meat that Eness had dropped.

<<mmm, just what I had been dreaming of.. meat!>> Ivee said happily as she
fought Eness over one of her peices. Ankara split them up and gave them each a
handfull of meat to slurp down as she watched Trissana.

"How long have they been gone?" She asked, her voice betraying the worry she
felt for M'yer and the rest of her new neighbors.

<<About a hour now I think.>> Trissana said gloomily, obviously upset at being
left behind. Ankara thought for a moment and came up with a good way to keep
them all occupied for at least a hour.

"Want to go give these two a bath? They look a bit dusty to me."

Trissana's eyes perked and she looked enthusiastic, <<sure why not?>>

Bathing pool near hatchling barracks-

 Ankara was covered in suds and water in no time, she had stripped down to her
singlet and leggings to scrub her little friends and was already chattering
her teeth in the cold water. Eness and Ivee werent making things easyer on
her, they kept splashing her with water as they frolicked. 

  The pool was shallow, but with Ivee's small stature she was swimming and
unable to touch bottom. Eness deffinately had the upper hand and continued to
dunk her sisters head under water. 

	Finally Trissana decided to even the score and lightly swatted Eness with her
nose bowling her over in the water. Eness stood back up with a shocked and
pitifull look on her face. 

	She looked up at the bigger Triss with her soft brown eyes in a perfect
expression of 'why are you pickin on me' look that made Ankara burst into a
fit of laughter.

Dining hall

  The warren was quiet that night, everyone seemed preocupied and most of the
conversation dealt with wraiths. Ankara sat with a couple of other nomad women
who lived in the warren. 

	One of them was another of the new riders, she had been lucky enough to get a
queen. Ankara wasnt sure why having a queen was so important, but she knew
that the warrenlady had one so she figured it was a honor.

  They talked about the Dragonriders, and how different they were from nomads.
It was a interesting topic, but they seemed all to be a bit concerned at the
moment so no one really had to much to say.

  Eventually Ankara excused herself, and made her way back to the appartment
where the girls were once again sleeping. thats all they seemed to do at this
point, eat and sleep. Ankara sat down at her loom and worked on the fabric she
had started before everything had changed.

  In such a short time her life had turned upside down. She wondered at the
fact that a few months ago if someone had told her what she would be doing now
she would have laughed at them. Thought them crazy.

  Ankara thought about her father again. Where was he? What was he doing right
now? She imagined him sitting in front of his tent looking at the fire and
thinking about her. She couldent wait untill she got to see him again. Now she
knew that she would.. as soon as Eness could fly.

  The hours passed, and as the stars came out Ankara finished the fabric and
was pleased with it. It was about three yards long, and a deep saphire blue.
It was coarser than what the dragon riders usually wore, but it would make a
excellent jacket for some lucky guy.. Ankara knew just who she would give it
to.

Ankara's appartment day 2

M'yer found Ankara oiling Eness in her room while Ivee watched patiently.
He stood in the doorway watching her for a moment while he decided how
to proceed.  Finally, he stepped forward and covered her eyes from
behind and said, "Guess who?"

Ankara grabbed his wrist, and despite her slipery grasp was able to flip
him over her hip and onto the floor.

M'yer looked up at her and said, "That was quite a welcome."

Ankara realized what she had done and squeeled in shock, "Are you all
right?" she asked kneeling down beside him.

"I'll be fine in a moment," he said and he pulled her head down until
their lips met.

  The kiss was heaven, Ankara melted into his embrace for a moment, untill a
tiny head wriggled between them and interrupted them so rudely. They pulled
apart and M'yer looked down at Eness with a wry grin. "Jelous?" he said with a
laugh.
 
  Ankara smiled and pushed Eness gently to the side and dove back into M'yers
arms.

Ankara's apartment day 3

 Ankara woke up late, and sadly alone again. M'yer and her had spent a few
moments of passion before something got between them again and he had to go
run some more errands. Life in the warren would certainly never be boring,
Ankara just wished it would even out and she would get enough time to slow
down.

  She fed the girls the last of the meat and a young boy came to tell her that
today there would be lessons. She whent off in search of the other hatchlings
with her two following at her heels bickering slightly over who got to walk
behind her. Suddenly Eness rushed forward akwardly and fell into Ankaras legs
from behind causing her to topple over right in the middle of the warren
green.

Ankara propped her head up on her elbow and looked back at Eness who was doing
her best to hide her head under her tail and sighed.

"what am I going to do with you Eness!" she said with a smile and patted her
to let her know it would be alright.

  Suddenly Eness jumped joyfully into her arms essentially pinning Ankara down
and snuggled her head into Ankara's hair making a soft crooning sound in her
ear.

Life was deffinately not going to be the same.

Gee guys im really sorry, Ive had a really tough month and I know I havent
posted recently, but well life has been really hard.

Firstly I got bumped off of my only source of income for me and my daughter
AFDC and had to reapply, I still havent gotten a check yet.

Secondly My boyfriend of two years dumped me, so there goes the mental support
too.

Thirdly Ive been down in the dumps and had two minor crashes of my comp, and
lost several things, one of wich was a post that was halfway done (for the
Yamato).

Basically life is tough, but im surviving and I promise to be more timely.
this one brings me up to day three.

Alton, expect a Yamato post soon.
