Day 1
Syren's Ledge

Bohoc inhaled as deeply as he could, <*Umm... excuse me, Ladies? But I
can't breathe!*>

<Did you hear something, Trissana, dear?> Ayesha's ruby eyes twinkled.

Triss cocked her head, still holding her breath as she exchanged glances
with the queen. <Hmm, no,> she said, trying to keep the grin off her face.
<The wind, perhaps?>

Ayesha nodded. <I'm sure that was it.>

Bohoc squirmed but found himself firmly wedged between the two larger
dragons. Well, if he had to die, this was a rather nice way to go.

Trissana chuckled to herself, drawing an even deeper breath to make her
sides expand. <And the air here is so fresh and clean...!>

Ayesha smiled slowly. <Yes. It is nice here. And always so nice and
warm.> She sighed heavily, squeezing the hapless Bohoc even more.

<*Help!*> Bohoc's eyes watered, and his breath wheezed out of him. Colors
danced before his eyes.

Triss decided to relent, and let her breath out just a bit...not enough to
let Bohoc get free, but enough that they weren't completely squashing him.

<*Uh, thanks, Triss... I don't remember this being part of the cuddling
lessons. Is this how they cuddle where you're from Ayesha?*>

Ayesha suppressed a laugh and winked at Trissana over Bohoc's head.
<Indeed. Though only the most civilized dragons cuddled this way.>

<Well, Cleft is *certainly* a civilized warren!> Triss asserted.

Ayesha bobbed her head in a graceful draconic nod. She agreed with the
pearly dragon, even if her rider did not.

<*Oh, civilized... yes, of course.*> Bohoc most certainly wanted to be
that, what ever that was....

Triss chuckled, leaning over to nuzzle Bohoc. <Are you not fortunate to
have two such civilized dragons to cuddle with?>

Ayesha flicked her tongue along Bohoc's muzzle. <I am sure Bohoc gets
exactly what he deserves.>

<I am also sure that he enjoys every moment of this, though you would never
hear him admit it!> Triss said. <Isn't that right, Bohoc?>

Bohoc's head swiveled from side to side, trying to get a word in edge wise,
but failing. These two certainly were talkative! <*Yes, Triss, Of course,
Ayesha, Yes, you are right Triss!*> Bohoc nuzzled first one and then the
other. Yes, they were both very fine cuddlers. He was one lucky dragon!

Ayesha crooned softly. Bohoc did know how to cuddle, that much was certain.
She sighed happily. <This is nice.>

Triss placed her muzzle alongside Bohoc's. <Hm, weren't you going to show
me that thing that humans do with their mouths? You showed Syren, but not
me!>

<What thing?> Ayesha inquired, intrigued.

<Well, I can't exactly explain it, but Bohoc is very good at it,> Triss
assured her.

Ayesha turned to Bohoc. <You must show me this thing, then.> she demanded.

<*Kissing? Oh, well, yes...*> If dragons could blush, Bohoc would have
been.

<He has to show me first, of course,> said Triss.

Ayesha frowned slightly. <All right,> she conceded unwillingly, <but only
if he shows me right after!>

<*Um, well, yes, I'd love to, but I need a bit more room to ... move my
head?*> Bohoc replied.

Triss let out her breath just a bit, so that Bohoc could get his head into
the proper position. She moved her own head around so that their noses were
almost touching.

Ayesha sidled just marginally to one side and waited, watching intently.
<You have room now.>

Breathing in deeply had never felt so good! He faced Triss first and
explained, <*Well, you need to tilt your head,*> Triss tilted it in mirror
to Bohoc's, so Bohoc tilted the other way, but Triss followed his lead
tilting hers to again mirror Bohoc's. <*No, Triss. Keep your head tilted
one way, and I tilt the other...*> Finally, properly aligned, Bohoc
continued, <*Now, you open your mouth, just a little, like this... and...
there! x smack x That's a kiss!*>

<Ooooh!> Triss exclaimed, delighted. <I like this!!> She twined her tongue
around Bohoc's and leaned into the kiss.

Tendrils of smoke curled out of his nostrils, yes, kissing Triss was
certainly... nice.

Ayesha cocked her head, peering intently at the other dragons. What a
peculiar thing to do. <Now why is it you do that?> she queried.

<*Well, it is very enjoyable,*> Bohoc explained.

Ayesha opened her eyes wide. <It IS? Show me then.>

<Mmmmm....> was all that Triss could think of to answer at the moment. She
pressed into the kiss hard enough that Bohoc was pressed back against Ayesha
again.

Umph! <*Oh, yes, I would, Ayesha... umm.. Triss... if you wouldn't mind.*>
His body again being compressed, Bohoc found himself again unable to
breathe.

<Mmmm....> was Trissana's only answer. The pearl dragon was, for the
moment, lost to the world.

Ayesha frowned. With a shift of her not inconsiderable bulk, she nudged
back - using Bohoc as her weapon.

<*Yipes!*> Bohoc tried to pull away from Triss, but Ayesha had wedged him
firmly in place and he couldn't break the kiss.

<Ooh, this is wonderful....> Triss said dreamily, her eyes closed.

<I don't find it wonderful,> Ayesha growled with asperity. <Your turn is
over, Trissana.>

<Not until my Bohoc says it is,> she said, wriggling happily against the
smaller green dragon.

<Bohoc!> Ayesha turned to the green and glowered down at him. <Tell
Trissana its my turn!>

<*Gasp! Triss... my dear... I think... I'm going to pass out!*>

Triss blinked at the urgency in his tone and broke the kiss. <Did you say
something, Bohoc?> she asked. <Say, you look a little blue....>

<Trissana, is he supposed to turn that color when you do that?>

<I don't know,> she said. <Syren didn't change color...> She looked down at
herself. <And I didn't either. Maybe it only happens with males?>

Ayesha nodded. <Perhaps. I should try, just to test that.>

Both females stepped back a bit to look at Bohoc's color. The tremendous
whoosh of air surprised them, as Bohoc inhaled.

Triss lost her balance, and went over onto her side. <Hey! What happened?>
she asked.

Ayesha failed to entirely smother a snigger at Trissana's predicament. She
turned her head to Bohoc - noting that he was returning to his normal green
color. <You're not blue anymore,> she observed.

<*No, I'm fine now, thanks!*> Taking several deep breaths, he hadn't
realized how dangerous kissing could be!

<Does that mean it's my turn?>

It was only fair, Bohoc thought, <*Of course, Ayesha. Now tilt your
head...*>

Ayesha complied, suddenly somewhat excited by the new activity. <Like
this?>

<*Perfect!*> She was a very quick study! Bohoc leaned in and gave Ayesha a
kiss, slipping his tongue gently into her mouth.

Oh, this WAS nice! Ayesha leaned forward, moving her tongue in a mimicry of
Bohoc's.

Bohoc wondered as the earth shook, wow, Ayesha really was quite good at
this. However, to his shock, Ayesha, suddenly looking up, bit down... hard.

<*Yipes!*>

<AHEM! And just what do you think you are doing on *my* ledge?> Syren
asked.
