(Late afternoon, Gate to Daere Warren)

	Kylan had just mounted Cuprus and was heading back to the town.  
Down below on a broad field there were many dragons and men walking 
about.  

	<What do you think, Coop.  Should we go see if we can make some 
friends?  Maybe if we have someone that can vouch for us we'll have an 
easier time getting in.> Kylan asked.

	<Why not?  It's not like we have anything else to do.> Cuprus replied.

	The two of them made a slow spiral down to the field.  Landing 
near a man wo seemed to be in charge.

	Kylan dismounted and approached the man and asked, "What is going 
on here, friend?"

	The man looked at him then looked back to the field and replied 
shortly, "Field exercises."

	Kylan asked, "Do you mind if we watch?"

	"As long as you stay out of the way."

	Kylan walked back to Cuprus and said, <Well, that didn't go over 
too well.>

	As Kylan was sitting down, a beautiful brown dragon came winging 
in.  The rider talked to the man for a few moments, and then the man 
joined the rest.  The dragons took to the sky, almost in perfect unison.  
They flew about, almost like a dance.  After another moment or two, the 
rider of the brown dragon noticed them, and with a look of slight 
confusion of his face, approached Kylan and Cuprus.

	The rider introduced himself as Ja'ks and asked their buisness.  
Kylan quickly explained why they had come.  Ja'ks said that he would pass 
on the message and that he was sure that the Warrenlady would come to see 
them here when she had the time.  He then turned on his heel and went 
back to the others.

	Kylan asked Cuprus, <I wonder why he is so sure?>

	Cuprus said, <I don't know.>

	They sat back and tried to relax as they watched the beautiful 
flight of the dragons.  Wondering when their time would come.
