Zert awoke to light dusting of snow that covered him and what was left
of his fire. It hissed as he watched a snowflake drift down onto the
ashes. He got to his feet and began to brush the snow off of himself.
Then, gathering up his belongings, he trudged off thru the light snow
that had accumulated upon the ground overnight. As the sun was beginning
it's journey into the early morning sky, Zert noticed that everything
was covered with a light dusting of the white powder. He was starting to
shiver now, good thing he had been wearing long sleeves and pants
yesterday when all this started. Looking around and seeing the mountains
in the distance he head in that direction, hoping it was right.

As he got closer, the air grew crispier and the wind was chilling him to
the bone. If he didn't get back he'd freeze to death out here. Wait a
minute, it was still early, he might be able to port into the spot he
had found when he first arrived. But was the risk worth it? Hmm, freeze
or get caught. I think I'll risk it was his thought as he stripped out
of his clothes and put them in his satchel. Unclothed and freezing he
transform and teleported into the treed area he had found. Once there he
quickly became human again, retrieved his clothing from his satchel and
struggled into the pants and shirt. The clothing had become wet from the
snow and were starting to freeze on him causing him to shiver even more.

Shivering, he trudged up to the warren and entered, it was cold here to
him also, but not as cold as outside had been. He looked around trying
to decide where to go first, he hungry, a little tired, freezing cold so
cold he couldn't feel his toes anymore, and his arm was hurting
something fierce. He knew it wasn't healed yet and had no idea how of
even if the weather would affect it. So he headed, in what he hoped was
the right direction, to the med center.

When he arrived at the med center he stumbled into a young looking girl
with startling green eyes and braided hair. As he approached her he was
saying, "I'm cold, my wraith injury on my arm hurts, and I can't feel my
toes anymore. I've been outside all night, trying to get back here and I
don't feel very well at all. Can you please help me?" With that said he
stumbled and collapsed into the girl before he was able to reach the
nearest bed....
