NRPG: The meeting he speaks of at the bottom of the page will take place the
next morning following Noni's reasuce and the others return, after everyone
has had a good nights sleep...  Cause Jayleigh sure as heck ain't getting up
to early... :)

After watching the other dragons lift Ammie into the air and teleport back
to the warren and declining the ride back to the warren, Zert went over to
the bodies, at least what was left of them, and searched them thoroughly.
He grabbed up what he thought might be the poison that had coated the
arrows and a few other things. He wasn't able to find much. Glad the Noni
and Ammie would be safe back at the warren, he concentrated on his next
problem, the girl who had seen him change. He should have just killed them
and blamed the Dragonhunters or something like that. But that really
wouldn't be fair to them. As angry as he was he was glad that they were now
gone. He declined all rides back to the warren by saying he wanted to think
and that he'd be alright and if he wasn't there in three days time, then to
please have someone sent to look for him. He walked away from the clearing
and through the heavy foliage that surrounded it. Looking up at the stars
he tried to figure out which way the warren was. Sure, he could teleport
there but he needed time to think and calm himself. He really didn't care
if the girl said anything or not, he could simply deny it. But that would
really be right either. 

As the night grew on, he began to get tired. The adrenalin was leaving his
body, along with the anger, and he was tiring quickly. So he searched as he
walked, looking for a suitable place to rest before he went back to the
warren. As the sun was rising, Zert was fast asleep on a bed of pine
needles. He awoke to his stomach grumbling for food and the sun dying off.
He'd slept a little longer than he had wanted to, but he didn't mind he was
now well rested, calmed down and he knew what he was going to do about this
girl and her dragon. But before all that he was going to eat. First things
first. He stripped off what was left of his clothes and tied them into a
bundle that he could carry with him. He then transformed and went hunting.
It didn't take long for him to find a couple of deer which he killed and
quickly ate. 

Eating done and over with, he wanted to get back to the warren, he had to
talk with the warrenlady about this whole incident. He teleported to the
grove that he had found when he first got to the warren and after
transforming and putting his clothes on he headed into the warren and to
the apartment he shared with his love, Fae'Rhee.

When he got there and opened the door he called out her name. Receiving no
answer, he headed into the bedroom to see if she was sleeping. Seeing that
the bed was unmade with the covers thrown all over the place, he was
becoming more concerned. He quickly left the apartment and began to search
the warren for her in a frantic rush. After about three hours of fruitless
searching he came to the Med Center, where he discovered that she was here
and she was sick. Finding her room he looked in on her and gave her a kiss,
wishing her wellness, promising that he wouldn't leave her again. He sat
with her for a little while, hoping she would wake from her troubled sleep.
As he sat and watched her and began to nod off for the tenth time he
decided it might be a good idea for him to get some sleep also, it had been
a very busy couple days and there was still Noni and Ammie to help.

Leaving the Med Center, he looked in on Noni and asked a healer directions
to the place where they work with medicines and chemicals. Smiling, and
thanking her he followed the directions she had given to the Research area
and entered through the double doors. He had never been to this part of the
warren before, simply because he had no reason to, but that was different
tonight. He was amazed at the resources available in here. The place was
huge. There were tables filled with beakers and jars and measuring devices
and burners for heating solutions and chemicals. The walls were lined with
books and charts that could be used to assist the fledgling researcher if
they ran into trouble. There were a few others in the room with him, but
they barely gave him a glance as he headed to a corner of the research area
and began his work. Just as he was settling in and getting ready to begin
with his experiments on the poison he was interrupted by a voice from the
door, "I was informed that I would find a person by the name of Zert here.
Is there a Zert in this room, please?"

Zert looked up and then around before admitting who he was to the fellow,
"My name is Zert. How can I help you?"

"The Warrenlady wishes to see you in her office with the others," the man
informed him.

"Um, Why? When?" Zert asked.

"I believe it has something to do with the rescue of Noni and Ammie and
what happened out there and the meeting is to take place in two hours
time," he returned.

Zert nodded to the messenger as he turned to leave saying he would be
there. Zert carefully put away the things he had taken out and put away the
few notes that he had started before the messengers arrival and left the
Research Area and headed back to the apartment to get cleaned up and ready
for this meeting.

NRPG: Sorry this took so long to do. I had a VERY unpleasant call that I
was on and hadn't felt like doing much. But now that's behind me and I'm
ready to do some writing again. Once again I apologize for taking so long.
