**Chula**

Chula the day staffer was just coming out from behind her desk when
Jayleigh came running inside.

"Oh M'lady I'm glad you're here," the woman sighed in relief as she
motioned Jayleigh to follow her down the hall. "We've had a fire in one
of the rooms. The one where rider Dyanisa was placed last night. When
the orderlies found it and attempted to put it out they found the body
of one of our orderlies."

" F'garin..." Jayleigh supplied the man's name.

"Yes....I guess you knew that already," she said, her voice sad as she
thought about what happened to the dragon when their rider died.

"We were able to get Dyanisa out of the room before the fire spread...
but we were unable to get to F'garin before the fire was out.... the
rooms destroyed,....' she said as she led the Warrenlady to the room in
question

They can to the room just as two big orderlies were loading the fallen
healers body onto a cart. While Jayleigh looked around, Chula took a
quick look at the body. Parts of it were charred, but it was obvious
that F'garin had been dead before he could ever feel it. Judging from
the unnatural possition of his head, his neck had been broken.

'How in the world had that happened,' Chula wondered.

"Where is Dyanisa?" she asked turning back to look at Chula. "Was she
able to tell you what happened?"

"She's with Herin now. It's unlikely he'll beable to get any
information out of her though. When she was found she was uncounscious
and when she does awake she'll most likely be delirious," Chula paused a
moment, thinking.

"The orderlie who found Dyanisa is also with Herin. He might know more
then I do."

Jayleigh nodded. "I'll talk to him then."

Chula led the way to the room Dyanisa had been put into. Herin was bent
over her, peering into her eyes while an orderlie stood a bit nervously
in the corner.

"Herin," Chula said and he looked up, his grief showing a bit around the
eyes. He smiled a bit when he saw Jayleigh behind her.

"I presume you would like to know what happened," he said wearily.
Jayleigh nodded. He sighed before continuing.

"Dyanisa was found sprawled on top of F'garin. Versh here," he said,
gesturing at the orderly, "says it looked like she launched herself at
him, probably knocking over the lamp, starting the fire. He thinks
F'garin was already dead.."

"He was," Chula interupted. "His neck was broken, probably when Dyanisa
and him fell."

Herin nodded. "Well that's basically all we know, Jayleigh. We'll know
more when Dya wakes up... if she does."

Jayleigh drew her eyes away from the young girl on the bed at the
healers words. "What do you mean 'If' she wakes up?" there was a
question in her eyes. "What is wrong with her that has you doubting that
she will?"

"I mean that her fever hasn't come down yet and I still don't know
exactly what she has," Herin said sadly.

"Can you run some test on her or something like that to find out what's
wrong with her?" Jayleigh asked.

<<Troy love can you find out from Sienra if she knows what's wrong with
her rider,>> Jayleigh asked as she waited for Herin's answer.

"I am but they take time... I don't know if she has enough left," Heirn
said soflty

"Well you have to do them faster," she snapped suddenly, still upset
over the healer and his dragon's death. "This Warren can not afford to
lose another dragon and rider today."

**Sienra**

<I don't know what's wrong with her, if I did don't you think I would
tell somebody?> Sienra snapped at the Viktroy's concerned question. Her
anger drained out of her, she was too tired to keep it burning.

<She dreams of monsters that bear her face and her past and death...>
she continued, more to herself then to the Queen. <And if Snink, Rosky
and their rider's were still, alive I'd flame them myself for what they
did!> she hissed, furious once again.

<But surely, little one, you must have some idea what is wrong with your
rider.>

Sienra blinked as Troy's calm tone brought her thoughts back to the
present. She was more tired then she had thought.

<Anything you might tell us could help save her life,> the Queen's tone
was supportive.

Sienra gave a mental sigh. <The light hurts her and so does touch.
She's hot and then cold and she doesn't think right, that's all I know.>

<Thank you, little one. Maybe that will be of some help to the healer.>

<Hopefully, because he's the only one who can help her, I can't
anymore...> Sienra said sadly.

**Herin**

"Troy just talked to Sienra, Dy's dragon," Jayleigh told those in the
room and then went on to tell them what the dragon had relayed to her.

Herin bit his lip as he digested the new information. "Its not much but
it might be enough.." He had a few suspiscions... but nothing
conclusive yet.

"Well let me know as soon as you find something. I want to be kept
informed," Jayleigh said and walked out.

Herin was right on her heels.. he had tests to run.
