Allora was just thinking that they might actually manage to 
servive the stint in the kitchen...when Fluffy called for.

	<SOUL MATE!  Come quick!>  she staggered from the intensity of 
the mind call.  he was very upset about something, and he was getting 
more aggitated by the minute.

	She threw down the rag she was using to clean with and sprinted 
outside into the snow.  She could sense him ove near the base of the 
steps to some sleeping quarters.

	The rest of her clutchmates were hot on her heels, her long legs 
giving her the advantage of speed.  Several times she almost fell head 
long in the snow form the trecherous footing, but she never considered 
slowing down.	
	
	<We are over here.>  Fluffy called as she got nearer.  She almost 
couldn't stop in time to miss stepping on the body in the growing patch 
of red snow.  

	<He is hurt!>  Fluffy shifted from one leg to the other, unable 
to stay still.  <Help him.>

	<I will see what I can do.  Tell Victory that Tair'n fell, and I 
am going to get him to the Med Center.>  
	
	Allora knelt in the snow next to the injured rider, she checked 
to see if there were any broken bones, Jason helped her check him over.
Most of the blood seemed to come from the gash on his head she tore off a 
strip of her shirt to bind his head...she didn't want to move him until 
they were fairly sure he had not hurt his back.

	The rest of the trainees worked quickly to check him over.  They 
were all shivering by the time they were satisfied it was safe to move 
him.

	Allora had the others tie their aprons together so they could use 
that as a stretcher....about the time they were going to put him on it...
Jayleigh arrived on the run.

	She called up to Ca'lan to try and calm him down.  Allora was too 
busy with Tair'n to pay attention to what the Warren lady said to the 
boy.
	
	Allora gave the command to shift him gently to the makeshift 
stretcher.  

	"Careful I think his left arm and leg are broken, and he might 
have a other injuries that we can't see.  Let's get him to the Med Center 
on the double."  Allora took the head end of the stretcher moving as 
carefully and as quickly as she dared.

	They were met at the door by Herin, he had a bed ready and as 
soon as they had set him on it, he sent them to wait out in the outer 
room.

	About and hour later there was a considerably larger group in the 
waiting room, this did not surprise Herin all that much.

	"He is resting quietly"  He looked over at the trainees who had 
brought him in, and then at the Warren lady.  "Thanks to the fast action 
of these Trainees he will be alright.  He has broken both his arm and his 
leg on the left side, as well as breaking two ribs, and eight stitches in 
his head.  But all in all he is a very lucky man.  It could have been 
much worse."
