My Dearest love,

I can't tell you how much I miss you every second of ever day that we're
apart. I never knew how lonely my life was until you came into it and filled
my world with the light of your love. I miss you Martyn and can't wait until
we're together again. 

Talera also sends her love. She took her first steps last night after we got
home to the apartment the Warren has found for us to use, and I wish you
could have been here to share in our daughters big achievement. She's such a
smart little girl if I her mother does say so myself. 

The news from the Warren is sad my dear. The Warrenlady is beside herself in
grief after the loss of a long time friend of both herself and the Warren.
Heron... you remember him I'm sure... was killed while seeing to the needs
of Lord Gossimor's people after a group of thieves ambushed them and
kidnapped his daughter. Remember I told you about the kidnapping in my last
letter... It wasn't until later that we all learned of Heron's death from an
arrow fired by one of the kidnappers left behind to keep watch on the caravan.

The man was caught and is now waiting in a holding cell to be transferred to
the Landbound courts as soon as a trial can be arranged. Jayleigh and Lord
Gossimor are doing everything they can to make sure the man lives to reach
that trial. They don't want anyone being able to accuses them of using their
titles to seek revenge.

Would that you were here now to help them find the people responsible for
the young girls kidnapping and a brave man's death. But I do understand your
need to finish what you have started in Xylian and so does the Warrenlady
Jayleigh.

Which brings me to the reason I am writing this letter. Jayleigh has asked
me to consider taking over as the Head Healer of the Daere Medical Center.
It's a big honor and one I'm very pleased to have been asked to do. But I
told her I would have to discuss it with you first my love.

It would mean moving back to Daere Warren. Something I know you really
wouldn't mind doing as you came from here, but I know how upset you were
when they didn't always use your talents to the best of your abilities.....
something I think will change once you get back, since they now realize just
how good you are at what you do. Also I've heard tale about a special Wing
here in Daere that is run by none other then your friend and mine, T'rell...
it's a special missions squad... that someone fondly nicknamed the Black
Coffee Squadron... after T'rell... which he hates... but I think is
appropriate if you think about it and know T'rell as well as I do.

The BCS Wing was set up to do things that most riders aren't always trained
to do... From what T'rell has told me about them, he wanted to have a group
of riders who were trained to react quickly in times of trouble. A wing that
would act as the first response to go in a sus out the trouble before anyone
else could come in cold, and replay what information they could back to the
Warren. A team of highly trained people who get to the trouble spots before
the rest of the Wings.

He also told me they were to be trained in to investigate things that happen
around the lands and help out when other means don't work out.

The BCS sounded like something right up your alley my love... in fact I'll
bet T'rell would love to have someone with your experience for investigation
in his wing..... and I know this because he asked me if I thought you would
consider it.....

Think about it my love... but for now I have to end this letter. Talera is
just waking up from her afternoon nap and will be hungry for her dinner. You
know how she gets after a long nap. She is her mothers daughter after all...
and you know yourself that I'm always hungry when there's no medical
emergency to occupy my mind.
