[[[ Med Center after Turi is brought in and awakes. ]]]
"What in the hell is going on here!!" Koda yelled over the noisy and struggles as Allora and two female nurses tried to keep the strange new rider on the bed.
"She was trying to escape," Allora yelled over her shoulder just as one of the women's hand came free and hit the leather worker on the side of the face, stunning her for just a second.
The noisy outside was growing just as overwhelming as that inside and Koda caught the picture in her mind that Ribbon sent her of the wild tan dragon going crazy.
Something had to be done before someone else got hurt. A Wild dragon frantic for her rider was a force to be recorded with and Koda knew that they had to get the rider calmed down enough so assure her dragon that she wasn't in any danger.
"Noni!!" Koda cried as she moved in closer to the bed. "Get me a needle full of Sanapus. We've got to calm her down enough so she'll listen to us."
Noni left at a run and was back in less then a minute with the drug Koda requested. It was a fight to hold the woman's arm still long enough to administer the drug, but finally Koda was able to empty the needle and it was another few minutes of struggles before the drug seem to take any effect.
Koda moved quickly, not wanting to lose the edge. She could see the girl was fighting the drug but hated to give her a larger does. Not with the sickness she'd just suffered through.
"Hush sweetie..... You're safe here... No one's going to harm you... I promise...but you have to calm down now or you'll hurt yourself more..." the healer said in the softest tone she could.
<<Ribbon!! Call Troy and tell her to get as many FEMALE dragons as she can over here to try and calm down that dragon!!>> Koda sent the frantic thought to her own dragon while she tried to calm down the rider.
<I've already called her. She's on her way and said she'd know what to do.> the purple dragon replied and Koda could tell her dragon was as busy outside trying to get through to the wild dragon as she was inside trying to get through to the rider.
"No one's going to harm you here!! We only want to make you feel better... Please dear... you have to calm down so your dragon Lynx won't harm herself....." Koda pleaded in a low soft, coaxing tone, hoping the girl would hear in her words that the girl wasn't in any danger.
"Lynx... Where?" the girl froze for a moment up on hearing her dragons name. "Where!" she said a bit louder and then began to struggle all the more as if needing to see for herself that the dragon was unharmed.
<My rider... Troy thinks it would be best if you can bring the rider out here where her dragon can see that she is alright. Troy thinks the dragon will calm down then.>
<<That might work!>> the tiny healer sent back. <<Because she sure as hell isn't going to calm down just on my say so... Tell Troy we're going to bring her out and to keep the other dragons close at hand just in case the dragons not convinced.>>
She turned towards the two nurses and Allora and told them to release the girl.
"Are you crazy?" Allora asked. But did as the healer requested. Though she moved back a foot or two just in case Koda changed her mind.
"No ones going to hurt you..." Koda coaxed again in the same soft voice. "We're going to take you outside to see Lynx... and then you can both see for yourselves that no harm will come to you here."
"Lynx??" the girl repeated, looking at the hand Koda held out to her.
Koda got the feeling that the gesture wasn't understood so she changed her hand movements and started to wave the girl forward as she backed towards the door.
"Come on sweetie....."She coaxed. "Come on... Lynx is just outside waiting for you... come see her for yourself."
She turned to the other three, smiled at Allora for her help, wishing to herself that she had half the woman's size... then asked them all to leave the room.
"I think she'll feel a bit easier if there aren't so many people around her," Koda explained when Allora was about to protest. "No... you can follow behind us in case I might need you, but I don't want her to feel threaten while we make our way outside."
Allora looked at the tiny healer as if she was crazy, but as the woman had the authority, the leather worker nodded and back out of the room. She didn't go far, meaning to keep an eye on the situation just as Koda suggested. Just in case.
It might have been the tone in her voice, or the fact that the woman talking to her was so much smaller then herself, but Turi moved her legs over the side of the bed and with a quick nervous glance around the room slowly followed towards the door and the way out. Only once did she feel the need to grab at the wall to keep her tired limbs up right, but then squared her shoulders and kept on.
Koda half backed, half front walked down the hall to the door leading out where Ribbon was keeping her informed on the doings outside.
She could see that the girl was about to rabbit at the first sign of trouble so she made sure everyone kept out of their way until they reached the doors to the green.
Once there Koda had Ribbon tell Lynx to look and see for herself that her rider was okay and for a moment the tan dragon stopped her struggle and turned her head towards the spot Ribbon told her to look.
