Midday to Afternoon
"The Tan dragon spyed a lone figure of a human who had suddenly appeared in the middle of the green."
Rayn ran into the green, to see a Tan dragon advancing on her at a great rate of speed. Afraid to move the young girl froze, and the dragon snatched her up in to her claws, waving her and threatening the dragons and humans alike. Rayn could do nothing but
close her eyes and wish that she had never gotten out of bed that morning. Then as quickly as the dragon had picked Rayn up, the Tan beast lowered her to the ground. Two Healers advanced on her, but Rayn shook her head that she was alright and the Healers turned their attention back to the rogue dragon. The rest of the happenings flew by in what seemed an instance. Dragons took off from the green following the Tan dragon on their way to find its rider and the rest of the people dispersed rather quickly. Rayn gathered her
wits about her and decided that maybe it would be good idea to get out of the green incase the Tan came back and decided to finish what it started.
Rayn wondered around the warren. She passed by the med center in hopes that someone would be present to look at the cut the Tan dragon had inflicted rather by accident than on purpose, but it did sting and Rayn hoped that someone could bandage it for her. But it
appeared that everyone had disappeared with the Tan. Rayn walked in and found a sink and some antiseptic and begain to wash the cut that now looked more like a gash, gapping from the bottom right side of her rib cage almost to her hip bone, and almost a quarter of
an inch wide. The bite of the antiseptic brought tears to the young girls eyes. Washing done Rayn found a roll of gauze and wrapped her mid-section. Patch job complete she cleaned the mess she had made and left a note promising to come back and pay for anything that she had used as soon as someone returned. Rayn ventured back into the sun of the day which was slidding past quickly. Tired from not only her ordeal but also the long walk to the warren she located a comfy tree with plenty of shade and sat down.
Resting her head against the cool bark, Rayn closed her eyes and slid into a quite sleep. All the events of the day flashed past in her mind and she hoped that she fit into the warren a lot better than the first impression that she had made intailed.
