[DL-G] Another Reunion

Bazie woke up and oriented herself. She was in a cave beside a lavender
dragon who just happened to be the Layer of her Egg. She realized that she
must leave before her mother found her. After all, she had disobeyed her by
leaving her hatchmates. She sighed, streched, clambered to the entrance to
the cave, and took off. Unfortunately, her rapid removal from the chambers
caused a large rockfall, uncovering a large vein of silver glitter. She
sighed.
*<I'm REALLY gonna have to work on my take-off. Oops! Updraft . . .
Whee!! This is really fun!>*
Her aerial acrobatics caused a mild uproar in the Warren. Many people
heard from their dragons that an unfamiliar dragon roamed their skys.
However, noone took off to investigate, reasoning that if she wasn't hunting
their food or terrorizing them, she was not worth the effort to get off the
ground.
Meanwhile . . . .
Sazarnth woke up with a start.
<What a nightmare! Those creatures . . . ouch! Must not have been a
nightmare, I guess.>
<<Sazarnth? You okay?>>
<Nice to hear from you again. How long have I been out?>
<<Away from the Warren? Two weeks. Sleeping? 24 hours. You were
dreaming so deeply, a wraith touch couldn't wake you up.>>
<So nice to be missed.> Sazarnth added wryly.
<<I missed you. Hey, whats that?>>
<What?>
<<It's a purple dragon. Kinda reminds me of you, Saz.>>
<Purple? Can you see her wings?>
<<Of course not! I'm not long-sighted like dragons.>>
<I'll meet you out in the open Warren. I think I know who that is.>
Sazarnth exited the cave and saw a purple streak zoom by her.
<Bazarnath! Stop this reckless flight and COME HERE!>
*<Mother?>*
<Yes! Come here this INSTANT!>
Bazie slowed down to a leisurely glide and the violet streak became a
dragon with silver streaked wings.
<Now. I'd like you to meet a friend of mine.>
The dragons fell from the cave to a slow spiral and alighted in a shady
area where Bashie waited.
<<Like mother like daughter, eh?>>
<Spare me your humor please.> And to Bazie she thought, <Bazarnath, what
did you think you were doing? They might have killed you! You're a feral
dragon flying over a Warren! How unintelligent can a dragon get.
Especially one of MY children!>
*<Um, well, sorry Sazarnth. The morning was fine and . . .>*
<Just forget it. Glad you're here. Will you be staying?>
<<Would someone PLEASE include me in the conversation here?!?>>
<I was just asking her to stay.>
<<Oh.>>
*<Sure, I guess.>*
Sazarnth stood on her haunches an bugled a four note arpeggio in a
surpisingly clear alto that carried well into every chamber in the Warren and
was answered by a soprano scale, both in perfect harmony.
