<Where did you get that?> Xanith grumbled irritably, as his rider reached in
his pack and pulled out a bottle.

<From my pack ..> Devon grumbled back.

<I can see that! But when did you put it in there. It was empty this morning
..>

Devon turned a glare on the dragon. <It was you!> HeÕd gotten up this
morning, needing a drink desperately to try and ease the pounding in his
head .. only to find his stash completely gone! Not that it was much of a
stash. HeÕd made short work of the bottles heÕs snitched from the kitchens.

<Yes it was!> The dragon glared back.  <IÕm tired of you drinking so much.
It messes with your head .. and mine!>

<HA! ItÕs the only thing that makes sense.> he opened the bottle and took a
big swig. <ItÕs the only thing that helps ..>

<Helps! It makes you feel horrible!>

<But it stops me from thinking about her ..> he sighed, <But you! You only
remind me of her!> He took another big swig. <Just go away!>

<Go away?? IÕm supposed to be helping you watch tonight! ItÕs our job!>

<Go away!> 

<Fine, you stay here and watch .. IÕm going to take a nap!> Xanith huffed
off leaving Devon to his watch and his drink.

Devon didnÕt care what that stupid dragon did .. He just wanted to have his
bottle and forget ..
