<<This time I think I will scare her good.>>

<Scare who my love?> Shawnee, Wingleader of the Warren asked her life mate,
as she sat behind her desk looking over the patrol schedule for the next
week. She couldn't imagine who Doshy was talking about for she had left her
cuddled up in the sun on the ledge outside their apartment when she'd left
there that morning.

<<That over weigh, diet-cheating Selene,>> the dragon replied. <<I knew she
hadn't been loosing any weigh from that diet we put her on, so I've been
watching her to see if I could caught her at stealing more food... And now I
have her.... this is her second trip to the feeding grounds this morning,
and she's not even suppose to be here at all. Her one fish a day comes from
the sea.>>

Shawnee's lips curved in a frown. The dragon, Selene's weight was something
she had been worrying about. For if the dragon continued to grow outward the
way she'd been doing, then she'd have a harder time keeping herself in the
air and would never be any good to a Wing.

She had hoped along with others that if they monitor the dragon's intake,
they'd be able to control her gaining... But so far it hadn't seem to go
them any good. Selene was still gaining and not loosing the weight they
needed her to loose. Even her rider couldn't seem to get her to stop.

<Humm... > Shawnee muttered, not sure she wanted to let Doshy *scare* the
other dragon, but knowing something had to be done. <Just don't give her a
heart attack my love when you do scare her. And let me know how things go.>

Her only replay was a soft dragonic laugh as their link faded to a small
place in the back of her mind.

She waited quietly behind a big bolder near the entrance to the feeding
pens, and then felt kind of silly, for Doshy knew any dragon would be able
to see her as the left the grounds.
But she was hoping that Selene would be thinking more of the tasty meal she
was carrying then the thought of maybe someone laying in wait for her.

Doshy was right. 

She waited until Selene was ten feet from the bolder and then jumped out in
front of her so fast that the big oversized  yellow dragon yelp in surprise
and dropped the dead carcass she'd been carrying in her mouth.

<<I GOT YOU!!>> Doshy shouted, and then her feet moved around in a little
happy jig. <<I couldn't prove until now you were cheating on your diet...
But now I caught you with the evidence and you're mine!!!>>

[No wait..... It isn't... I mean I'm not...] Selene started  to stammered.

<<Don't tell me you're not! I've been watching you all morning and know this
is you're second trip to the feeding grounds!!>> the Teal dragon told her.
<<We go and put you on a diet so you could loose weigh. Because we all care
about you and want to see you stay in good shape. But all you're doing is
gaining weigh and soon you'll be so fat that you'll never be able to fly
with your rider much less fly for this warren!! Now what do you have to say
for yourself?>>

[[Tag KK..... Can she get herself out of this one..... Doshy takes her duty
seriously so she has been watching Selene.....]]
