As Briana cried on Almiron's shoulder, many thoughts went thru her head. 
After hearing about Reetsada she wondered again about how the man she 
knew could be so selfish. She wondered if she really knew him at all. Her 
sobs lessened & she looked up at Almiron with tear stained eyes & said "I 
just can't believe he is so selfish. After all, so many have died or are 
seriously injured."

Almiron, although he agreed, tried to be comforting to Briana "Some react 
different to being hurt. Maybe he change after he think about it"

"You didn't see him Almiron, he was so cold to me" Briana began to look 
angry as she thought about it again "Even if he does change his mind, it 
would take me awhile, if ever to forget that"

Almiron led her over to a fallen tree stump near the warren & sat her 
down with him. "Whatever you decide best for you, and always remember I 
am friend & here for you."

Briana smiled at this & impulsively hugged him tightly. It was so warm & 
comforting in his embrace she just stayed there awhile enjoying the 
feeling of being held. Suddenly she realized how much time she had spent 
there & said "Oh, you must get back to the people who need you."

Almiron smiled "You needed me. I was here."

Briana looked at him & wondered at the difference between someone who 
gave so much to people & what she had just encountered with S'brogh.
Almiron endured pain to help people who were hurt, in fact he had almost 
died from what she had heard when he saved little Benna.

Briana looked at him. "I am fine now, I just have a lot of thinking to 
do" she said "Thank you" She hugged him tightly & ran off to find Star & 
return to Keldarra.

Almiron looked after her as she went & wondered how S'brogh could have 
treated her like that. Briana had already been thru so much in her young 
life & was a good friend to have. He shook his head & wondered.

(Will you be alright, Briana)

(Yes, Star, I will. Everything will turn out as it should)

Star appeared above Briana & landed. Briana climbed aboard. Star launched 
herself into the air & they disappeared.

As they appeared above Keldarra Briana said to Star

(We have something to do, my beautiful dragon)

(yes,Briana?)

(We have to look for a home)

Briana & Star flew around looking at the places that were available. 
Finally after about an hour of looking they found one that appeared to be 
suitable. It looked out in the direction of the clearing where Briana 
practiced. It also had a large ledge suitable for Star, as well as 
another dragon in case Briana eventually decided to...no she wasn't going 
to think about that. They flew down to her ground home & gathered her few 
belongings as well as a quick trip by S'broghs to pick up a few of her 
things. As she looked around S'brogh's apartment, she sighed. No matter 
what happened things would never be the same.

Briana awoke the next morning & went to breakfast as she realized she had 
not eaten much the day before. She bolted her breakfast & then had an idea.

(Star, go have fun sunning or something I am going to see if I can help)

Briana headed for the medical center. There she found a healer & asked 
"Can I be of some help? I don't have any healing abilities but I can 
fetch water & help people to the bathroom & just hold hands if needed"

The healer looked grateful. "Yes that would be wonderful. The only rooms 
to stay out of are those with the most seriously injured, unless called 
by one of us to help, ok?"

Briana smiled at him. "I just want to help. I will do anything"

Briana bustled about & made herself feel useful. After being there for a 
an hour or so she saw Almiron head out of a room, saw him talking to 
Kyven & Kyven walked off. She smiled in his direction & then turned as 
someone asked for a glass of water. When she turned back he was gone. She 
started across the room to check on another patient who had seemed like 
they just needed someone to be there with them & all of a sudden S'brogh 
was in front of her.

"I told you I didn't want to see you" S'brogh looked at her angrily.

"I am not here to see you. I am here to help the people who really need 
it" Briana said, her anger growing "If you ever wish to see me again, you 
come to me. Now if you will excuse me..." She turned & stormed off 
towards the patient she was headed to see.

After a few hours, the healer briana had first approached came to her & 
said "You go on now, you need to take care of yourself" Briana began to 
protest then realized, that she did need some relaxation. She had been 
driving herself trying to forget.

"Thank you, for letting me help" briana smiled at the man.

"No, thank you" he said

Briana headed out the door & headed towards the one place she knew she 
could relax.

(Star, I am heading for the practice grounds)

(Ok, Briana, I am enjoying the sun & talking to some of the other dragons 
about all that has gone on.)

(You stay there & relax. I'll call when I need you)

Briana then headed for the practice area where she could stretch & think.

Judi: hope the encounter with S'brogh is still how you want him played. 
If he has a change of heart then he can come after her, he'll know where 
to find her.
