Briana gasped when she saw Almiron at the dining table. That black 
eye...she wondered who had hit him. Anger hit her as she wondered.

(Darshan says he fell, Briana)

(Bull!)

(Well, thats what he says)

Briana wondered why he was covering for whoever had done this to him. 
Well, she needed to talk with him anyways. She would ask.
After she finished eating, briana headed down to that end of the table.

"Hello, Almiron, Darlea...& I believe you are Michel, correct?" Briana asked

"Yes, I haven't had a chance to get to know too many people around here, 
but I am trying to change that" Michel said.

"Well, if I am not in training I am usually at my practice grounds, come 
by anytime" Briana said.

"Thanks, I will" Michel answered.

Briana then turned toward Almiron & asked "If you have a moment could I 
speak with you?......privately?" She looked at Darlea & Michel.

"Of course" Almiron started to get up & winced. Darlea looked at him with 
concern. "I am fine" he stated to her.

Almiron led Briana to the conferance room that he had talked with M'tan 
in one time & closed the door & waited.

"First off, before I talk to you about what I wanted to talk with you 
about, what happened to you? And don't give me that story about you 
fell." Briana said 

"It a long story" Almiron said.

"Who did this to you?" Briana asked

"Noone" Almiron stated & as Briana began to look at him unbelievingly he 
continued "It something that happen sometime when I do healing. If I heal 
too much I have problem sometime"

"Almiron, then you need to stop before this happens to you" Briana said 
worried for her friend.

"I do what Hehran will" Almiron stated.

Briana was worried for Almiron but had to take him at his word knowing 
how much good he had done for the injured.

"Now what did you want to talk about?" Almiron asked.

"Well, I just wanted to let you know that evelle came to see me on the 
practice grounds today & tried to explain why S'brogh acted the way he 
did. She said just what he did, that he can't stand for anyone to see him 
helpless. I don't think I will ever forget how much her hurt me that day. 
I don't think we will ever be more than friends again." Briana sighed.

"You do what best for you" Almiron said "Only you know that"

"Its just that even though I know now that he wasn't being selfish I 
couldn't stand it if I was mate to someone & they were sick or injured & 
they wouldn't let me near them to help them & take care of them & comfort 
them" Briana said

"Everyone handle thing different" Almiron stated.

"Its like I can see that Darlea is concerned about you & wants to take 
care of you, knowing you are hurt" Briana said.

"Darlea....Darlea is good friend" Almiron stated simply.

Briana wondered at the way he phrased that & almost started to ask 
something & then refrained.

Briana looked into Almiron's eyes & then gently traced the bruised eye 
with her fingers lightly.

"I wish I could help" Briana said.

"You are good friend, that help" Almiron said.

Briana just stood there quietly looking at Almiron, wondering at what she 
was feeling, & then said "well, thats all I wanted to talk to you about. 
You seem to be the only one who understands what I am feeling about this 
situation. We can go back now....unless you want to talk about anything 
also?" Briana looked at Almiron questioningly.
