Briana was glad that Darlea had invited her to stay. She hadn't wanted to 
be pushy but she wanted to get to know Michel & Darlea better. She loved 
being around people & so much of her time up til now had been absorbed by 
her teaching & also S'brogh.

S'brogh...her mind wandered for a moment as she remembered how he had 
touched her the first time they had made love up on the mountaintop. Her 
mind took off on the memories, then she realized there had been a pause 
in the conversation.

"What? I am sorry, I was daydreaming" Briana apoligized.

"I was saying how good you are with the little ones, teaching them" 
Darlea repeated.

"Oh, I love it so much, passing on what my father" a dark cloud passed 
over briana's face & she paused "taught me"

"Your father?" darlea asked gently 

"He died....a wild dragon tore him to shreds when he was trying to join 
with him" Briana stated "Thats how I got to the edge of the wastelands 
where Reolden found me"

"I am sorry" Darlea said gently.

Almiron was looking thoughtful as he also remembered back.

briana changed the conversation quickly "Michel, I see that your eye 
healed. I remember how concerned everyone was that day"

"Yes its doing great, thanks to Almiron" Michel said.

The conversation continued a little longer & then Almiron & Darlea 
excused themselves.

"Well, I had better be going to. Do you want to walk out together or are 
you staying" Briana asked Michel

Briana awoke the next morning & headed down the the practice grounds. She 
wanted to get there early so that she could practice some things before 
her students started arriving.

Briana did her stretching excercises quickly & then took the saddle off 
of Starleana. 

(Oh, are we going to practice bareback riding again, briana?)

(Yes & a few other things, just be prepared, ok? & no sudden moves or you 
may lose me)

(I would never let anything happen to you, Briana)

(I know, little one)

Briana climbed aboard Star bareback & they headed for the sky. Briana got 
the feel of Star flying & then took the very ends of the riding straps in 
her hand & then said to Star "Ok, here we go"

First she kneeled on Star & as she felt her balance resolve she then put 
one foot on Star's back & then the other. She straightened up. Now she 
was standing up straight on Star.

(Yes, its working)

(Are you steady up there, Briana?)

(Yes, little one, you are doing great. Now I want you to swoop lower down 
thru the clearing & do a pass, ok)

(Ok, Briana)

Star swept down thru the clearing & as she did so, Briana noticed Wynn's 
surprised face, as he was standing off to the side. Evelle was also with 
him & didn't look too happy either.

(Oh shit, I think we are in trouble)

(But why, Briana, we are doing fine)

(You don't understand. Just land near Wynn & Evelle, ok?)

As Star landed Wynn & Evelle approached & Briana dismounted & awaited to 
hear what they had to say.

what she did & taking such risks or are they going tobe surprised &
