Scene: The caves

They came upon one of the larger caves, looking inside
tentatively. "Quite dark isn't it, love?" Evelle said, taking a step
inside.

"Very dark." Wynn agreed, following closely behind his mate.

"A perfect place for a rendezvous, wouldn't you say?" Evelle
said with a soft giggle.

"We should let our eyes adjust before going too far in." Wynn
said, wrapping his arms around Evelle's waist. Evelle cooed softly,
then glanced about her, pointing out various formations for both of them
to look at.

Evelle broke gently from Wynn's grasp and took her hand in hers,
leading him further into the cave. "Your eyes must adjust faster than
mine." Wynn said, still having trouble making out some of the darker
areas.

"Must be all that getting up in the morning, does things to your
eyes." Evelle said jokingly, pulling him further into the caves. "Hmm,
it seems to head down. Want to go take a look?"

"Look? Look at what, I'm almost blind here." Wynn complained.

"Oh, don't be a stick in the mud."

"I am teasing, my love. If you don't lead me down there, I'll
have to do it, and I don't think we want to stumble, do we?" Wynn
smiled, though it was unlikely she could see such.

"Oooh, I think I see some sort of light far up ahead." Evelle
said after some moments of silence, with only the sound of their feet
against rock and water dripping filling their ears.

The tunnel suddenly turned steeper, and the two young lovers
carefully negotiated the rocky incline. A few moments later lead them
to a sharp turn in the tunnel, bending to the right. Beyond that there
was no further doubt, ahead lay a very soft, dim blue light.

"What's a light doing down here in the darkness?" Wynn asked.

They came across a few glowing specks on the walls and ceiling.
"It seems to be a sort of lichen. I had always wondered if those
stories were true, of a glowing lichen within deep caves. There must be
a few cracks letting some sunlight get in." Evelle explained. "It's
beautiful, isn't it?" She asked, looking ahead to a now closer dim glow.

"It is." Wynn replied softly, this time taking the lead. A
trickling of water could be heard, and they continued in awed silence,
looking at what the glowing cave had to offer. The lichen grew denser,
growing much more along one wall than the other. Soon, the stepped into
a slightly larger area, a small cavern by the looks of it. Along one
far wall a slight stream of water ran tinkling down the wall, splashing
against the rock floor, long since formed into a depression and pool.

Evelle kneeled down and dipped her hands into the pool, barely
large enough to allow her delicate hands cup a mouthful of water. She
sighed, sitting back on her feet as she looked about. "This is simply
beautiful. I wish I had found this cave years ago."

Evelle felt Wynn's hand fall upon her shoulders, rubbing
gently. She sighed at the heavenly treatment. "Oh, if only we could
get you to do that during those long Council Meetings." She cooed.

His hands moved up slightly to her neck, massaging, her head
lolling to one side then the other. She felt him kneel down behind
her. "Mmm, but I am not so sure that I could only keep to your
shoulders and neck, love." Wynn whispered into her ear. She had chosen
to wear a gentle blue dress, simple yet elegant in design. Before their
walk, however, she had previously decided to change into something more
practical for the Warren, and wore leggings and thought of a light
blouse. But with the recent rains came cooler air, and instead she
opted for a knitted sweater, made of a softer material than the wool she
was used to. She did so enjoy the feel of it against her skin, and it
was a wonderful shade of pale pink, bought from a passing caravan some
years ago. Then it had been large, but now fitter her upper body quite
nicely.

She felt warmth spread through her body at Wynn's touch, his
hands gently massaging down her back. She sighed again, murmuring
softly as his hands came upon a tender spot. After some time of
attention to her back, Wynn's hands snaked around her, drawing her
closer to him in an embrace. She nestled against him, feeling his lips
press against her cheek. Her head bent to one side, revealing her neck
to his eager kisses, his hands rising to her breasts, squeezing softly.
With an easy motion he exposed the back of her neck, her hair gently
pushed to the side. Evelle's eyes fluttered as his lips touched ever-
so-slightly to the nape of her neck. She felt her sweater rise,
exposing her pert breast to the cool air. She moaned as his hands ran
over her skin, fingers bringing gasps of pleasure from her. His kisses
ran back up her neck, kissing along her jawline until his lips pressed
against hers eagerly. She struggled slightly, pulling her arms into her
sweater, then breaking the kiss long enough to pull the top over her
head. The cool cave air felt delightful against her very hot skin. His
lips returned to hers, a deep passionate kiss shared between the two of
them. Wynn's fingers traced down her sides, giving rise to goosebumps,
and she shivered at their passing. She moaned into his mouth, his hands
pressing against her, her legs opening slightly. Evelle broke the kiss,
letting his lips explore down her neck and shoulder, while she glanced
down, co-ordinating her hands to undo the buckle to her belt.

With a slight sound of metal against metal, the belt became
unbuckled. Slowly she rose to her feet, turning in his grasp as his
hands continued to cover her body. Wynn pulled himself up to his knees
before her, eyes looking up into her face. She reached out and gently
ran her hands through his hair, pulling Wynn closer to herself. His
lips pressed against her flesh hotly, and she groaned as pursed lips met
her breasts, covering her nipples with brief kisses. Hands stroked her
hips, then glided downward, pulling her leggings down to her soft
moan. "You are so beautiful, my love." Wynn whispered as he gently
nuzzled her stomach.

He kissed her hips, lips molded to the soft rounded curve.
Hands stroked up her back and then back down. His tongue glided across
her, and his lips pressed against her other side. His hands reached up,
and gently pulled Evelle down onto his lap, his arms enfolding around
her. Their mouths met in a hungry, needful kiss, tongue intertwined.
She struggled again, both shifting to free Wynn from his clothes.
Evelle shifted, pushing herself upon him, back arching as she gasped in
pleasure. His lips locked upon her nipple, her body quivered against
him. A hand pushed her against him, raising a deep groan from both of
them. His other hand found hers, bringing it behind her back, pressing
her hot body to his. She quivered again, unable to hold herself back,
calling out his name in a sweet voice, made husky by the passions
between them. He brought her quickly to a second rise, this time her
name was added to his, inbetween short breaths and gasps of pleasure.

As their hearts began to beat slower, their breath returning to
them, they peered into each others eyes. Wynn's hand glided through
Evelle's red hair. "I love you, my Wynn." She said in a soft whisper,
kissing his nose.

"I love you as well, my sweet Evelle."

Scene: The training green, the next day

Wynn laughed as Evelle told him of a dream she had last night,
in which the Council of Warrens somehow erupted into a food fight,
mostly with the use of pies and cakes. The thought of Evelle covered in
a buttery icing was not that bad a thought at all, to which Evelle gave
him a firm bop to the shoulder for such thoughts. But the twinkle in
her eyes gave her away.

Just then a white object in the sky caught his attention, and
turned his gaze as a small white dragon zoomed low over the ground. The
dragon's rider, a young woman Wynn knew all too well, stood upon her
dragon's back, restrained only by the reins she held. It was hard to
keep from looking surprised. Just what was the girl up to?

Within moments, the small dragon landed in front of the
Queenrider and her mate. The two approached as Briana dismounted. "How
could you be so reckless?" Evelle asked, as surprised as Wynn had been.

"I wasn't being reckless. I knew what I was doing." Briana
protested.

"I know how good you are with your acrobatics, but it's still
dangerous to try such stunts." Evelle continued. There wasn't a harsh
edge to her words, only concern and recovering surprise.

"It was dangerous, Briana." Wynn said, stepping in to the
conversation. "What if you somehow lost your grip? I can understand
your desire to improve you skill, but is it truly neccessary to risk
yourself and your dragon, just to show off?"

"I trust Star, and myself." Briana said.

"Briana, I don't doubt that. But remember that you are a
Dragonrider now, and that comes first and foremost. We take risks, but
only when neccessary." Wynn continued.

"I'm sorry, but I really didn't think it would be such a
problem."

"We only wish you to be careful, Briana." Evelle said in a calm
voice. "It would be terrible if you got yourself hurt."

Wynn took a deep breath. "Well, practice will be within the
hour. You should make sure that Star is up to flying. You and the
other new recruits will become fully integrated into Gamma Wing this
afternoon. Not only will you need to learn the combat and flying
drills, the others will need to relearn them with you. I'll see you
then."

Briana nodded, rushing back to her dragon and hugging her. Wynn
at least admired the girl's enthusiasm. He turned back to Evelle,
intent on continuing with their short morning walk.

Just then a dragon trumpeted nearby, and a large red dragon
lifted off into the air, announcing her challenge. From all around, the
colourful males lifted into the air, a rainbow pattern streaking off
after the female.

Evelle turned to Wynn. "He flies with them." He said, teeth
clenching slightly. Now it was a matter of which dragon would win Dencia.

NRPG: Well, Wynn can't keep the big guy back _all_ the time, now can
he? :) Just something to show that Malekith is still a dragon.

Kat: Hope you don't see Wynn and Evelle being too harsh. They're just
worried about Briana and Star.

Judi: Perhaps Wynn and Evelle should take some more walks ;)
