Briana listened as Wynn & Evelle expressed their concern. She knew how 
they felt but she had to be the person she was. She knew that Star & 
herself were meant to fly like they did. After their conversation she 
went over & hugged Star.

(They don't really understand us, little one)

(What is important is that we will always understand each other, Briana)

Briana grinned &  started to rub Star down in oil, & then resaddled her.

(Better have the saddle on for practice, I guess, huh Star)

Star made a sound that passed for a dragon chuckling & at that moment 
they both heard a dragon trumpeting.

(Another mating flight...wonder who it is & who will win)

(well, when *I* fly, I won't be easy to catch) Star boasted.

Briana laughed. (You're so silly, little one. That will be quite awhile yet)

Briana did some stretching excersises & then headed for the green for 
training. She noticed that Salinda & Almiron were the ones missing & 
gathered that that was who had flown & won that morning. She grinned at 
the thought that darshan had won *another* mating flight. Several of the 
other males looked disappointed but it was a fact of the warren that 
sometimes things like this happened. She tried to concentrate on what was 
being taught & after they had tried some maneuveaurs she felt like Star & 
her did very well in combat. Star's smallness made her very maneuverable 
& she could stop & spin in a flat second. Briana had no trouble retaining 
her seat as she felt one with Star.

am going to leave it there.

After training Briana got her schedule for when she needed to fly patrols 
& made sure it didn't interfere with her schedule of classes. She then 
headed back to the practice grounds to train more on her tightrope, as 
she had missed that this morning because of the aeriel acrobatics. She 
had been on her tightrope for quite awhile when she heard Star panicking.

(Briana! Darshan's rider is very badly hurt!)

(Almiron? What has happened?)

(I don't know! Wait! Another dragon is giving me a picture of the lake 
where he is hurt)

(Come get me, Star!)

Star flew beneath the tightrope & Briana dropped from the rope & landed 
on Star.

(Let's go!)

Star & Briana teleported to the lake where there was a mob scene 
surrounding the lake. She was above the lake & saw Almiron floating there 
looking lifeless.

(Down, Star!)

As Star dove for the lake, Briana dropped off close to Almiron & gasped 
when she saw all the blood. He wasn't breathing. She grabbed him & 
quickly pulled him to shore, with the help of another who was in the 
water. She looked up & there was Kyven waiting.

"Help him!" briana looked panicky "I don't know what else to do!" Briana 
quickly moved aside to let Kyven do his work.

NRPG: Mike C: will cover Briana & reolden in the next post because due to 
the timing it would have to be the next day as Briana had finished with 
her students & was doing the daredevil stunts when Wynn & Evelle caught her.
So reolden will approach her the next morning probably, ok?

I left it open in case someone else was in the water helping to pull 
Almiron out.
