Darlea

Darlea was at the funeral. Al'dairan death had affected a lot of people,
having been born and raised in the Warren as Darlea had. There were few dry
eyes among the crowd listening to the eulogies and Darlea was no exception.
The young man would be missed.

As the crowd was slowly dispersing afterwards, Darlea caught a glimpse of
Almiron. She felt that familiar bite at her heart, and quickly turned
heading the opposite direction. She headed up the old path which led up into
the heights of the Warren peaks. She decided she could use the fresh air and
the solitude.

As she walked she heard someone talking. Very few came this far up as it
could be treacherous. She wondered who it could be. The voice was familiar
.. but who? Her curiosity kept her moving toward the voice. As she drew
closer and was able to hear better, she realized it was Mearn. The strange
man with the wolf. 

As the man came into view, Darlea heard Rem growling. She immediately
stopped not wanting to antagonize the wolf.

>"Her name is 'Night' She is the incarnation of the night.  I've been
working for her ever since." 

"The incarnation of night?" Darlea asked a bit skeptically. It sounded very
far-fetched. Though she had to admit she had seen something. "That was the
strangest thing I've ever seen in my life. You're saying that was 'magic'?"
She paused for a moment. "Do you do 'magic' where you come from all the time
then?"
