Darlea watched in horror as the large man stopped dragging the girl and
slapped her. She had never seen such brutality in her whole life. The man
was definately not from the Warren. She recognized the girl from training.
She was a new dragonrider. 

<Kirimith's rider> said, Makayla whose hulking form was huddling close to
Darlea during the scene. <Here she comes!> Then the midnight blue dragon
appeared as out of no where to protect the girl.

Two Warrenfolk pulled the brute away from the Dragon, while the Dragon
ushered the girl back toward the barracks. Darlea turned to hug Makayla.
Then she saw Salinda, the girl she met at the hatching standing just a ways
away. She also had witnessed the scene, as had probably half of the Warren.

"Salinda," Darlea called, "Have you ever seen such a thing?"

Salinda nodded solumnly. "It isn't a common thing, but there are those who
drink to much and then can't control themselves. They become mean. My
stepfather was like that. As scared as I was to come here to the Warren, I
was even more scared to stay home."

"But you aren't scared any longer are you?"

"No, I've got Dencia," she said with a bright smile while pointing out a
bright red dragon. "And Minty has Kirimith, it won't happen again."

"I hope not..." murmered Darlea. Salinda just nodded.

NRPG: Okay remind me how big the dragon gets. I know they get big, but how
big in realation to man size. If they start out at 4 ft and double over
night, that's 8 ft.
