The female dragonrider dodged to the left, evading a wraith by mere 
inches.  She had messed up and let this one get in too close, and now was 
trying to get out of the mess she had created.  It didn't help that her red 
dragon, Lannith, was running out of flame.  She had been fighting the 
wraiths alone for a while now, and it was beginning to take its toll.

 The dragonrider's ice blue eyes serched for her dragon's next target.  
Her long raven-black had slipped out from under her riding helmet, and 
was now whipping wildly in the currents caused by Lannith's flight.  

 Suddenly, the air was filled with new dragons, two wings worth.  The 
female dragonrider breathed a sigh of relief, telling Lannith to contact 
one of the new dragons.  

 A moment later, Lannith replied, "I already did.  He says that they are 
from Keldarra Warren.  I told him that we were not from any Warren, and 
he cut me off.  I don't understand."  

 The female said, "It doesn't matter, Lannith.  I know where Keldarra 
is.  We'll go there.  Maybe they will accept us.  If not, we'll leave 
again and try heading over the wastes.  Let's not think about it now, 
though.  We've got to get you some coal, since right now, we're just 
sitting ducks up here."

 The female formed a mental picture of Keldarra Warren in her mind, and 
the red dragon picked up on the picture.  Suddenly, where there had been 
warm sun and dragon roars, there was a cold nothing.  Then she felt the 
sun again, opening her eyes, looking out upon Keldarra Warren.  She 
landed, and a man ran up to her, with a load of coal.  Suddenly he 
stopped, and a voice in the background yelled "Wynn!  Hurry up giving 
that dragon the coal and get back over here!"

 The man said, "I don't recognize you.  Who are you and what are you doing 
here?"

 The female removed her helmet, her black hair finally falling free.  "My 
name is Hedda, and I'm here to get some coal for my dragon, Lannith.  
She's out of flame, and we're needed over Ralengarde."

NRPG:  Here's my character.  *grin*  Playing a female this time... going 
to be interesting.  *Grin*  I'm really looking forward to getting this 
game going full swing.  This is going to be fun!
