[DL] To the rescue

Darlea was settling in to her new apartment. It was small, but very cosy.
She chose it because it got morning sun and waking up would be a dream. A
lot of the other riders wanted the other side of the Warren, as they didn't
get the morning light. But Darlea had always been an early riser. Probaby
due to her early experience in the kitchens of the Warren, where she had
helped her mother out quite frequently.

Darlea had gathered her things from her mother's rooms in the Warren and she
and Makayla had flown them up to her new home. Sheltie had not been there.
Darlea was a little dissappointed, but she knew that her mother, while very
happy for her, wasn't very happy to see her living on her own. Of course
her mother didn't really understand that she wasn't alone. She was with Makayla.

*Darlea, somethings wrong!*

"What is it, deary? What could possibly be wrong?" Darlea asked not really
paying attention. She was laying on some comfortable bed clothes and
enjoying the down time.

*Paranth, he's frightened.*

Darlea sat up. A dragon frightened! That was not a good thing.

*Wraiths and Rogue Dragons*

"Wraithes and Rogue Dragons..." Darlea whispered, her horror mounting.
"Come, deary, we must see if we can help."

Darlea quickly put Makayla's saddle on and gracefully glided into it. As
Makayla got ready to fly they saw the entire Warren filling with dragons
flying to find out what was going on.

*Where's M'ressan, Makayla? He'll know what we should do.*

*Alanth says we should go back to our apartment. He says they have enough
help. He thinks we aren't ready.* Darlea could tell that Makayla didn't like
that idea.

*But Michel and Paranth are one of us. We've been training with him and
Paranth since the hatching.*

*I want to follow them, Darlea. I want to see if we can help Paranth.*

*Yes, deary, we will follow them. Just watch very carefully, I don't want
you to get hurt.*

NRPG: I think we said that this wouldn't actually happen for a few more days
of training, so I'm assuming we've now had some combat training. I'm sure
none oh the hatchlings are going to want to see their hatchmate hurt:) I
don't figure I'll be much help at the Counsel meeting... so....
