NRPG:  First things first.  (Figure I'll get this out in the open right
 off.)  <G>  Please understand I'm using a new mail system to me, using
 mail through Netscape.  If anyone gets this twice, could you please let
 me know... I'm still not sure how the address book works.
 
  Also, understand, I've been out of this for over a year... if I'm a
 little rusty in my posting style, give me time... it will come back.
 (BTW, it may take me a post or two to get Hedda back in with the group
 while I figure out what the hell is going on around the place.<G>)
 
  Now, on with the show:
 
  Morning
  -------
 
 Hedda's eyes slowly opened to Lannith's prodding. <<Hey, sleepyhead,
did you forget about the training session for the flight today?>>
 
  Hedda slid her legs over the edge of her bed, chills running up her
legs when her feet hit the stone, and her head pounding.  She had had
too much to drink last night, again.  But last night had been the
party.  Everyone had been drinking, at least as far as she could
remember.
 
 <Lannith, don't you know when to stay out of someone's head?> Hedda
replied, pressing her forehead into her hands to try to relieve the
pain.
 
 <<I won't even justify that with a response.>>  Came Lannith's snide
reply, and Hedda couldn't help but smile.
 
 <Is there anything on the agenda for today, honestly?>

 <<No, I was just lonely.>>
 
 Hedda walked out to the ledge, working through the pain of the
hangover, and began oiling Lannith's hide, occasionally looking out
over the green.  There was a class out there in training, she could
see, and they looked pretty good.  <From the growth of their dragons,>
Hedda thought, <I would have to say they are close to graduation.>
 
 Lannith came back with <<MMM... that's nice, I don't really care, just
keep scratching that spot>>
 
 After the oiling, Hedda walked back into her apartment, grabbed her
riding gear, stuck her knife in her belt and boot, and rode Lannith
down to grab something to eat.
