[DL-K] A Run-In, and Hedda Arrives at the Trial
by

Hedda ate her "breakfast" - actually lunch - in silence, not even
sitting with anyone. Still suffering from her hangover, she just wanted
to be left alone for now. She finished, got up, and left without paying
any attention to where she was going.
Hedda had made it out to the green, and Lannith was on her way when she
felt someone bump into her, or maybe she bumped into someone, when she
heard a familiar voice say "Dammit, watch where you're going." Then she
recognized the voice. It was hers. Then she heard another voice say
"Excuse me, but you're the one who should pay attention." She looked up
to see Briana glaring at her.
She heard a mental snicker, and Lannith said <Nicely handled. Now
apologize.> And, so prompted, Hedda replied to Briana with "I'm so
sorry."
<Very good, my dear.> and "It's all right. I guess we're all a little
short today, with the trial and all," were the replies Hedda got.
"I guess. See you around, Briana." Hedda called as she climbed up
onto Lannith's back.
"See you, Hedda."
Up in the air, Hedda asked <<Why didn't you warn me I was about to run
into her?>>
<You didn't ask.>
*********
A little later, Hedda was back on the green, headed toward the Great
Hall. She walked in, sending to Lannith <<I'll call you back when it's
over>> as she took her seat.
Respectfully submitted,
Hedda and Lannith

NPRG: Kat - Sorry if I mangled your character there. It's been a while
since I've written for Briana, so I'm not really sure what she's like
anymore. <G>
