Briana slowly opened her eyes, rubbing them slightly, trying to get her
bearings. Then she remembered what had happened last night. She looked
down at the sleeping man, realizing that he wasn't going to be able to
help her. She had to do something herself. She would go talk to
Christalla. But, she would have breakfast first, she thought as her
stomach rumbled.

"I'll be back, R'mar" she said softly, kissing his forehead. No matter
what he had done, she couldn't hate him or be scared of him. He had been
there for her during some very rough times....as well as saving her life
from Celeste.

Briana walked out of the med center, heading for the dining hall. She
decided to walk it, rather than fly. She needed to walk out the kinks in
her muscles. She would need to work on her exercises more. She'd been
letting herself become too complacent, riding Star everywhere.

She arrived in the dining hall, and suddenly stopped dead. There appeared
to be some kind of fight going on, between one of the new riders
and....K'wen. She moved closer so she could hear.

Christalla was questioning the two of them. Briana heard the new rider,
Jono, defending his sister...Shaelesta.

"No I take that back.. there are two people that I know about who think
the same way as I do. Your own mate M'lady... though I've heard it said
that you yourself think she's stolen from you... A small matter of a
broach that she said she found... I heard from several people that you
accused her of taking it. Is that true?"
(end snip)

Briana couldn't stand this any longer. Innocent people being accused of
things while the guilty ran free. She pushed her way forward.

"I don't believe this!" she fumed. "Innocent people, like Shae have had to
run from their homes, while people who have already been linked to the
fellowship are still here, and they are free to do as they please!"

Briana looked over at K'wen. She decided then and there she was tired of
hiding. "Him!" She pointed at K'wen. "V'rdeen named him in the note he
wrote, saying he was in league with the people who have been causing our
warren trouble. Yet he is still free." She turned back to look at
Christalla...and D'neor who had come in as well. "What are you going to do
about this?"
