M'ressan looked up, eyes flashing with dangerous determination.  "Oh,
thank you.  I'm glad she's helping already."

He took a breath.  "You see, there's a problem at Keldarra.  I know what's
causing it, but I don't have any proof.  I need help finding that proof.
The man is named L'talin, and I believe he killed Maya."

Dameon paused, it was a very open statement..one that he himself had not
been prepared to make...yet.

"I am not certain what I have is 'proof'."  He said, stepping forward and
pulling out the small loop he found in the gorge.  "I am afraid this is
all I found at the murder site."

M'ressan took the small silver hoop and examined it.  Dameon shrugged as
he took up a stool.  "I am uncertain as to what it is...."  M'ressan
nodded, continuing the sentace.  "But you are even more curious as to who
the owner was."

Dameon paused again, uncertain as to what he may have gotten himself into.
but then he remembered Fabrice...a friend in need.

"Yes.  I am."
