(DL-M) Buncha stuff!

[DL] Z'lec

Z'lec headed down to the med center where David was questioning Yenal.
"What's he been telling you?" the Wingleader asked of the lad.

"He took Malk t'the wastes." David said. "He's here t'help. That's 'bout all
he'll say."

Z'lec looked at the young man in front of him. He still looked to be
suffering from yesterday's fight. "Fine. David, go back and lay down. I
don't want you pushing yourself. Besides, it looks like D'ssarian has
already spotted you and is headed this way."

David looked up and saw the healer headed in his direction. "I think yer
right." he gave the Wingleader a faint smile. He's as bad as m' mate when it
comes t'bein' o'erprotective."

"That he is." Laughed Z'lec as D'ssarian approached them.

David turned to the healer, " No need t' correct me. I'm goin'." Z'lec
watched the two of them go, then turned back to Yenal.

"So you want to help?" he said eyeing the dragon.

<He's a feisty one, Z'lec.> said Raynod, amused by whatever the large black
dragon was thinking.

Z'lec turned to his white dragon, "Just tell me what he's saying."

<He says you are not his master and he'll not take orders from you.>

Z'lec turned back to Yenal, "I don't want to order you around, Yenal. I'm
just not sure what help you think you can be."

<He want's to make up for what Malk did to the Warren.>

Z'lec nodded, "Well, I'm sure we can use all the help we can get. But what
if he teleports when the connection is broken. Our dragons don't need
another death on thier minds?"

Yenal snorted, almost like a laugh.

<He doesn't realize yet how lonely he will be, Z'lec. He doesn't think it
will bother him at all. He actually thinks the link is gone already.>

<Could it be, my friend?> Z'lec asked his dragon.

<No, Z'lec, he is not alone yet. For when he is, we all will know. He just
doesn't want to admit it yet.>

"Alright, Yenal," said Z'lec, "Why don't you help them clear the rubble from
near the medical building. That's one place we haven't had time to get to yet."

Yenal moved toward those working on the rubble. There was some mild
confusing until the riders dragons told them what was going on with Yenal.
Slowly they began to work out a pattern for communication with the large
black dragon. Z'lec had to admit that he would be a big help... if he didn't
end up teleporting once the bond was completely gone.

[DL] Waylene

Waylene was in her office, dealing with a minor squabble between two
unjoined Dragonfolk over some petty miscommunication. These were the type of
things she hated to deal with but as WarrenLady it was her job. Keanne had
always been with her to help before.

She found it odd that now that she had two queens, she still had no help.
Arri was consumed with helping the healers. Waylene certainly didn't hold it
against her. D'ssarian and C'tain had told her what a big help Arri had
been. Then there was Carie. The girl had no interest at all in running a
Warren. She preferred to be out on the green with those in training. Parion,
the trainer, tried to shoo her away, but she refused. Waylene simply wasn't
sure what to do with her.

She turned her attention back to the feuding pair in front of her, realizing
that she had missed most of what they had said. After having to have them
repeat themselves, she ordered a settlement and sent them on thier way. She
then turned to her next problem at hand: Tr'etram.

<Aura, please ask Koroth to bring Tr'etram to come see me as soon as
possible, please.>

<They will be here shortly, 'Lene.>

Waylene sat down to wait for the man's arrival. After a short time of
waiting, he arrived.

"You wanted to see me, WarrenLady." he said simply.

"Yes, please sit down, Tr'etram." The man sat and waited to see what she
wanted to say to him. "I spoke with Z'lec last night about your difference
of opinion in the medical building the yesterday."

Tr'etram nodded.

Waylene sighed, "Tr'etram, I want to give you every possible chance at a new
life here. Z'lec really does too, though he isn't accepting it as easily. He
is worried about what will happen if you have a relapse. I worry about that
myself, but I don't have to work with you on a daily basis as Z'lec will if
you plan on being a combat dragonrider here."

"He's already accusing me without cause."

Waylene nodded, "I know, and so does he. You're going to have to prove
yourself to him. It may not be fair, but it is reality.

[DL] D'nar

D'nar was supervising the reconstruction of the kitchens. He was proud of
the way the Warren had pulled together and now the job was almost done. The
way things were going Lunch tomorrow could be cooked there.

"Oh my... by the gods, what've ya done to my kitchens!" Came the gruff voice
behind him.

D'nar turned to see the plump head cook behind him. "'Cook', you're
supposed to be in the Med building. What are you doing out already?" he
asked her.

"Checking on my kitchens, that's what I'm doing. And a good think too."

"It'll be done in time for lunch tomorrow, 'Cook'. You have my word on
that." said D'nar smiling.

The woman hummphed, "As if that should set my mind at ease. D'nar, you'ra
sweet lad, but look at this mess."

D'nar chuckled, knowing that nothing ever satisfied the older woman. "Well,
it's going to take longer with you here supervising. It would be easier if
you went back to where you are supposed to be and let us do the work."

"This's where I'm supposed to be. If I wasn't here, you'd all probably be
sitting around. Ya need me here, look at this mess!"

D'nar shook his head and smiled at her, "Fine just sit back and don't get in
the way. We don't want you getting hurt again."

'Cook' hummphed again and took a seat. D'nar knew she wouldn't sit there
silently for long, and of course he was right. Soon she was directing the
reconstruction while he sat and watched.

[DL] T'rend

T'rend was sitting on the green with Grall waiting for Mukale, Sky and
Shard. He wanted to discuss strategies for studying. Mukale was the first
to arrive, gliding down gracefully on his charcoal dragon.

<That's Tarranx and his rider, M'kale.> reported Grall.

T'rend approached the lad, "Grall here tells me that you are M'kale. I'm
T'rend."

"Actually it's Mukale, but Tarranx calls me M'kale" he said with a smile.

T'rend began to laugh, "Ah, give it up lad. I used to be Terrend before I
joined with Grall. Your dragon has a mind of his own." T'rend continued
chuckling. Mukale found T'rend's laughter infectious and was soon laughing
as well.

Soon Sky and Shard joined them and they sat down to discuss thier first
study flight. "I don't think we are quite ready to capture one yet. Actually
Waylene tells me she is still rather skitish about it. But if we can get
started, I don't think it will be long before she lets us bring on in for
study."

NRPG: Chris: your move next on Yenal <G>

Lyn: How is Tr'etram taking Waylene little talk. BTW, if he walks out of the
room unexpectedly, he will most likely find Z'lec not very far away <BG>

Mike, Glory, and Josh: Whoever would like to start this go ahead. T'rend
will be with you, but let's see if we can find some wraiths to spy on!!

All: I wanted to let you know that the kitchens will be open soon and
introduce you to our head cook. I know she's been mentioned, but now you
actually get to meet her <G> Also Perion, who is the combat trainer... I
haven't written up a bio for him, so anyone can pretty much make him however
you like. Except that he is a little annoyed that Carie likes to hang around
<EG>

'Cook'- Hanna: 52, 5'4", 170 lbs, short dark hair and dark eyes. Head cook.
She is a older woman whose gruff exterior hides a kind and loving heart. She
is a favorite among the Dragonfolk, despite her often harsh demeanor.
