(DL-M) From the other side.

Carie was hopping on Fiera to go to the aid of the others, when her
Dragon responded...

*Carie, we've been told not to even consider leaving. Waylene.*

Carie climbed off of her Dragon, walked over to the nearest wall, and
stood leaning, arms crossed, against it.

*She says she doesn't want the Dragons in battle to worry about a Queen
being there.*

"Fine, Love, just do me a favor? Start informing the Dragons not to be
surprised if a Queen is with them in battle. That way, they Dont' worry,
we dont' worry. No way in Hell am I staying back here, twiddling my damn
thumbs while everyone else is risking life and limb. This time, maybe.
But, be sure to tell them."

*not a problem. I will start informing them.*

After the Battle

Malk hobbled to the Marrid Medical Center. His leg was set after a short
time, but there were still problems. He could have sworn that the Doctor
was smiling as he straightened out his leg. No matter. Several of the
Marrid force came to see him, discuss their problems, what he had done,
etcetera ad nauseam.

*Malk, they want you to stay a while.*

"Screw that," he thought. "Stay so they can Exile me for 'crimes against
Dragonkind'? I don't think so."

*And where does that leave me*

"I don't know. I dont' seem to remember you there when I fell into that
pit, if I remember right, you ran away!"

Yenal just remained quiet. He knew what Malk intended to do, and the
Gods help him, Yenal would help him.

Later that evening, when most had fallen asleep, Malk crept out, and
struggled to get aboard Yenal. In a Blink, both were gone.

The next morning, Yenal, having been back for hours, woke and waited.
David was the first to arrive, and notice Malk was gone. David stormed
up to the Dragon.

"Where is he?" He shouted.

*First, you will stop yelling, and commanding me, Human! Whereas I get
along with your kind, somethings you odn't do to your own kind, let alone
Dragons. If you speak with such missplaced authority among your own
kind, it's a wonder you're still alive. Secondly, Malk is gone. He
asked me to transport him late last night, and I doubt we'll see him
again. We teleported to the wastes...and parted ways. He went into the
Wastes. I returned here, to rectify part of the harm he ahd done. I had
no control on him,b ut was around, just the same, and therefore am just
as guilty. Thereby, I shall pay my debt to this warren before becoming
Wild, for make no doubt, the bond between my human and I is gone now.*

Yenal and Malk
  AKA Chris Canary

NRPG: Welp, Malk is gone for a while (Will he return? Only the Shadow
Knows! HEHEHEHEHE), but, Yenal is still around. Have fun.
