Diana listened as Trey spoke & as she looked around the room she saw some 
faces turn even more stoney & others begin to soften as they saw in 
Trey's face how he was haunted himself everyday by what he had done.

As Trey started to leave the room Diana began to follow. but when she say 
Trey stop towards the back of the room before the doorway she stoped also.

"Laria?" Diana heard Trey say

Trey's daughter? here at Marrid? Diana's heart began to pound as she 
wondered if this would be good or bad for Trey.

Then she saw Trey crumple at his daughters feet sobbing. She wanted to go 
to him but knew that she had to let this happen, whatever happened. Then 
her heart broke as she saw Lara gather him into her arms & say "It's ok, 
papa, it ok". Tears rolled down Diana's face. She knew that whatever the 
outcome of this meeting it wouldn't matter that much to Trey. His 
daughter had forgiven him...maybe now he could begin to forgive himself.

Diana heard one of the new transfers in the background make a speech 
supporting Trey, but none of that mattered. All that mattered was the 
scene before her, Trey & his daughter. Diana felt someone next to her & 
turned & saw R'chein. "He will be alright now, R'chein, no matter what"
Diana said. R'chein nodded & both of them just stood & watched their 
friend & his daughter, both with hope that Trey could now begin again.
