(DL-M) Telling some sad news

[NRPG] This is a slight backpost of things I realized I needed Waylene to
do, but hadn't had her do yet :) I apologize...

[DL] Waylene

Z'lec headed off toward the medical center. He had told Waylene a little
about what was going on with David. But he didn't really know either. He did
however, want to keep an eye on the man they had brought in and an ear out
for how David was doing.

Waylene watched him go. It tore her up to see him so bothered by all this.
While she understood his feelings, she knew that he needed to put them aside
in order to work with Tr'etram. Sighing she turned to go to her office.
There was still more work she had to do.

<Aura tell Olesya that I need to see her rider in my office immediately. Ask
her to bring Suayla as well please.> Waylene entered her office. With word
that the DragonLady's courier, Al'darian had been killed, it fell on her
shoulders to inform his sister Del. Waylene also knew that he was involved
with Suayla. She decided to tell the two women together.

When the two girls arrived looking both confused and concerned, Waylene had
prepared what she was going to tell them. What she had not counted on was
the girls being prepared for the worst.

"Please sit down," Waylene told them.

"If you don't mind WarrenLady, could you just tell us what has happened to
Al'dairan." said the young dragonrider. "I think I'd rather stand."

Suayla nodded, "We figured since you brought us here together, it had to be
about him."

Waylene nodded realizing she hadn't considered that. "I'm sorry to have to
be bearer of news like this. Al'dairan was murdered earlier today."

Suayla fell into a chair, her face pale. Del's stance wavered but she
remained standing. "What happened," she asked.

"Apparently there was an assassination attempt on the DragonLady. Al'dairan
was hit by one of the assassins blades. I'm so sorry."

Suayla's head fell in her hands as her body shook with her sobs. Waylene
moved over and hugged the young woman. Del stood for a few moments then with
a determined voice she said, "I have to go to Keldarra to be with my family."

Waylene looked at her. "I understand, Del. But you make sure you have
Keldarra firmly in your mind before you 'port. I don't want to lose you
because of your grief.", she said gravely.

Tears began to stream down her face, "I know my way home." Waylene nodded.

Suayla looked up, "I want to go with you." Waylene watched the two go,
understanding thier grief. Staring at her desk, wondering if she should sit
down, she decided against it. Sighing she turned to go back to her
apartment. She was worn out and needed a rest.
