When he helped her from the bed she slid into his arms & gave him another 
long leaisurely kiss. "Mmmmmmmm" he said "We may never get out of here if 
you keep that up!" Diana laughed & slid from his arms & grabbed her clothes.

"Lets go" she said & hopped aboard Zena.

Trey climbed onto Koroth & they were off for the lake. They went to the 
same area where Diana had sat with R'chein the day before.

"This is a beautiful lake" Trey said, looking around him.

"I like to come here to think sometimes too...but it does sometimes get a 
little busy" Diana said.

"Last one to the water, is a rotten egg" she yelled & took off.

Trey came up behind her right before she reached the lake & scooped her 
up & ran into the water full force. She came up sputtering & laughing.

(I like Koroth's rider, Diana. He makes you laugh, like Darrin did)

Diana grew slightly thoughtful upon that remark.

"Lets swim a bit" Diana said

She took off for the middle of the lake thinking to herself. To be this 
happy such a short time after Darrin died, was that being disloyal to him?
What would people think? She shook her head at that thought. She didn't 
care what people thought. She was happy & she also knew that Darrin had 
loved her enough that he would want her to be happy. She would have felt 
the same if it had been the opposite way.

Suddenly Trey grabbed her from behind & turned her around & leisurely 
kissed her. She felt her body respond to him again.

"Now, now, we'll never get to breakfast this way" he teased.

"You're right" she said "& suddenly, I am ravenous!" She started for the 
shore & he followed.

They quickly dressed & headed for the dining hall on their dragons.

They entered the dining hall & Diana felt Trey tense next to her & 
grabbed his arm & smiled at him. "It will be alright" she said.

They entered & Trey sat down while Diana offered to go get food. She saw 
Z'lec scowl at Trey & was slightly angry. Couldn't that man give a person 
a chance? 

She brought the food & they began to eat & teased about how nice it was 
to not have to cook.

Suddenly Trey's face became serious.

> "Diana," he said,  "I've been thinking this 
> morning...  I know we've moved pretty fast, maybe because we both needed 
> someone so desperately, but... what... what would you think of... taking an 
> apartment together?
"
Diana looked slightly surprised. "Trey...." she started when he interrupted

"I shouldn't have asked, its too soon since darrin, I know" Trey said 
looking slightly saddened.

Diana lay her hand upon his arm. "Let me finish" she said. "The last few 
days I have spent with you have been some of the happiest in my life. 
Like Zena said to me this morning, you make me laugh. I had hoped you 
felt the same but never dreamed you would want to share an apartment 
quite this soon" She paused & looked into his eyes. "Trey, I think I am 
falling in love with you, if I haven't already. Yes, I want to share an 
apartment with you."

He looked up with joy in his eyes & drew her close & kissed her. "Lets 
look this afternoon, ok?" he said.

"Sounds good to me" Diana said "Now finish eating or cook will think you 
don't like her & you sure don't want to get on cooks bad side!"

Trey laughed & picked up his fork "No, that I don't!"

They continued to eat.

(Koroth, did you hear that? We are going to be finding a new place & 
sharing it)

(Good thing, that ledge was too small for both of us to fit comfortably)

Koroth & Zena spread the news & soon the warren was filled again with 
dragon's gossip.
