> "Are you okay?" she asked.

> "A headache?..."  He didn't notice the fear in her voice.

Diana's thoughts went immediately to his story "it began with headaches" 
& she knew fear. She couldn't lose him, she just couldn't.

> "Ow!  Yeah, I didn't sleep well.  Probably just that."
> 
> "Do you... do you think you ought to see D'ssarian?"
> 
> "What for?  Just give me a headache remedy."
> 
> "Trey, didn't your... illness start with headaches?"  The fear was strong 
> enough to hear now.

Diana heard R'chein's words echo in her headache. "If the growth regrows 
& is left untreated he could die"
> 
> It twisted into him.  Not again.  Not now.  No... no, this was just a 
> headache, nothing more.  "This isn't like that," he tried to assure her.
> 
> "Are you sure?"
> 
> "Diana!  Ow.  Look, I can't live my life in fear of every headache, okay?  
> Can you please just get me something for it?"
> 
> "Okay," she said, her voice quiet, but still worried.

She had to trust him, had to trust him & Koroth. If she didn't she would 
live the rest of her life in fear also.

She went searching thru the boxes for the headache remedy she always kept 
on hand. She found it & grabbed that as well as his other morning 
medication & a glass of water & took it to him.

"Here, Trey" She said quietly, handing them towards him. He came out from 
under the blankets & took the medications.

"Thank you, Diana" he said & curled up in a ball wishing the pain to go away.

She curled sat in the bed & pulled his head into her lap & stroked his 
temples & face softly with her fingers, trying to will all the love she 
felt for him into those strokes. She say there, thinking about their 
love, & hoping, trusting that all would be right with their world.
