T'rend thought for a moment. "How do they get in town?"

"Just walked in the gate. They don't always seem odd before hand. Sometimes
not even until a wraith attack begins. Even some of our own turn to aid the
Wraiths... for no reason that we can determine. People that have lived here
for years without incident." Uthna told him. Then he looked worried, "We
can't seem to find a way to control it, and it seems to be spreading."

T'rend nodded. He turned to Mukale, "I think we need to report this to
Waylene, right away." Then bowing slightly to the noble, "Lord Uthna, thank
you for your time. We will be in touch soon."

Uthna nodded and watched as the two dragonriders turned to leave.

It was shortly after lunch time when the two arrived back at Marrid. Having
thier dragons check with Aura they were told that Waylene was in her office.
Leaving thier dragons on the green they headed quickly to her office to tell
her what they had found at Tressa.

Waylene was a bit shocked at the news. She quickly called Aura to tell
Raynod that his rider was needed in her office. "Please sit down," she
motioned to the two riders standing before her, "I'd like you to be here to
tell Z'lec the same thing you told me. We'll decide where to go from there."

They sat and awaited the Wingleader.

Z'lec walked in a short time later and listened intently to the information
form Lord Uthna. He was silent, his face solemn as he thought about what he
heard. "I think we need to bring David and Diana in on this. They were in
the cave with Malk. They spent more time there with Malk then anyone. I'll
talk with them," he stood and turned to Mukale and T'rend, "Good work. I'd
like you to continue with the idea of studying the Wraiths as well. I think
we can still find something out." He then turned to Waylene, "I think it's
time to think about bringing on in for study. Keldarra's going to be busy
with thier own problems right now. I think it's going to fall to us to
continue this."

Waylene looked at him, not wanting to give the okay, but knowing that with
this new threat it was a very valid idea. She nodded slowly. "Very well. But
I want to be sure that it's secure before you bring it in to the Warren."

Z'lec looked at the other two dragonrider. "You've got the okay... go to it."

Z'lec was in his office when David came in. After some awkward words about
Minty, David got down to business, regarding thier positions in the wing,
since neither he nor Minty had been able to attend the one earlier.

"I'll have the patrols assigned by the end of day, but there is something I
need to talk with you about first." Z'lec explained what they had found out
in Tressa. "I just wanted to be clear on everything you saw when you were
with Malk and Diana in the cave."

That evening Z'lec sat in his office working out the new patrols and trying
to decide on a wingsecond. He had already spoken to several possible
candidate, but so far nothing was falling into place. He sighed knowing this
was going to be a long night. 

As the evening hours continued one and the sun faded from the sky, he
continued to plan out his wing. They had lost so many, and still were not up
to full capacity by a long shot. Thank the Gods, for Fiera's upcoming clutch.

As night began to give way to morning, he finished.  Smiling he looked down
on his flight layout. It had taken all night, but it was ready. He would
announce it at practice after breakfast. He headed out having Raynod pick
him up and take him home. There were still a couple hours left for him to sleep.

NRPG: Excuse the lameness of this post :( But I am still swamped....
However, I didn't want you all to have to wait for me.. so here it is.

First of all, for the Wing... I'm still having a bit of a problem with Wing
second... simply because why would he choose a new transfer over others that
have been at Marrid longer. I thought about Diana, but beside the fact that
she might be pregnant, (which Z'lec doesn't' know yet) He's a tad concerned
about her sanity at moving in with Trey <G>  I know Minty was wingsecond,
but Z'lec doesn't know her... He doesn't' really know any of the New NPC's
yet... Not like I would assume you should know a Wingsecond...  And he's not
ready to give the job to Trey, despite his experience :)

One thought would be to split the wing into flights, having flight leaders
and chose an NPC for second.. but I'm up for other suggestions... I am not a
military strategist, despite the fact that Z'lec is supposed to be :):)

Justin: Here's a chance to give your ideas about the Wraith queen, based on
what T'rend and Mukale learned from Uthna....

Mike, Glory & Josh: Consider the capture of a wraith a 'go'.  Josh plan a
good holding device based on everything we know about wraiths.... Perhaps go
out on a patrol to watch them from a distance before you rush in and catch one.

I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff here... I apologize, once this holiday weekend
is over, I'll be more organized... I promise
