(Back post)

Asleep again!! Granted with everything  that had been happening 
around here, Koda knew D'ssarian was tiered. They all were. But 
if it had taken this much out of the man, then maybe he should 
take some time off and get himself rested up before coming back 
to the med center.

She slipped quietly out of his office and back into the hall way. 
Letting him sleep. There wasn't anything right now that demanded 
his immediate attention, so why bother him. But later she planned 
to have a long talk with the man and if that didn't work....

"Koda" She turned as she heard someone call out her name and saw 
Diana coming towards her. "Have you seen D'ssarian? I need a check 
up so I can hopefully go back out on patrol and I can't seem to 
find him."

"He's...ah ...a little busy right at the moment," she covered. 
"But if you wouldn't mind me having a look at you, I've got some 
free time right now?"

"Oh could you?" The woman smiled in relief. "That would be 
wonderful."

"Back a wing and raring to go huh?" Koda joked as she led Diana 
down the hall to an examining room.

"You could say that," the girl smiled sheepishly. "It's not that 
I don't love being a mother, because I do!! It's just that..."

"You're a dragonrider and you want to do what you were trained to 
do."

"Well that's part of it," she admitted when they entered the room. 
"I'm starting to think I'll go crazy being stuck up in our apartment 
with no one but the girls to talk too. I've never been one to just 
sit in one place for long with out doing something!!!"

Koda couldn't help but laugh as she had Diana take a seat. The same thoughts
had been on her mind lately. "I think I know what you mean. Sometimes I tend
to forget that there's life outside of this hall 
and my apartment."

"At least you get to see other adults from time to time, and they 
talk back," the woman said in a droll tone of voice.

"Oh I get to talk to them all right. *Now V'erdan did you remember 
to take those pills I gave you to help with the pain?* or *Really 
Messiane this is your forth baby in just under four years... didn't
D'ssarian tell you to hold off having anymore?* Or then there's.. 
*Le'veon of course you're going to be having a headache if you drank 
more than you should have last night.* 

"But enough of that, how have you been feeling?" The healer changed 
the subject. "Are you feeling any soreness still, or any other 
problems you think I should know about?"

"I feel fine," Diana assured her. "No problems at all."

"Well lets take a look just to be sure your body will agree with 
you."

"Well everything looks fine," Koda told her sometime later after 
Diana had gotten dressed. "I didn't find anything unusual and you 
look to be in good working order, so I think I'll release you for 
light duty for the first week and then if you feel up to it, you 
can go back full time after that."

"Oh that sounds wonderful!" Diana smiled. "I don't know how to 
thank you."

"Just don't talk about medical problems if you happen to see me 
outside of this place," Koda half joked. "And offer to let me 
baby-sit those two adorable little girls sometime."

"You got yourself a deal." The other woman replied as she stood 
up and walked towards the door. "And don't think I won't take you 
up on your request sometime soon."

"I hope that you do," Koda grinned. "I really hope you do."

After the woman had gone, Koda turned back to the file she'd been 
looking at before going in search of D'ssarian earlier. It wasn't 
anything she really needed to disturb him about. So she let him 
sleep for now and went back to work.
