Minty nodded, and yawned, her body exhausted from the experience of
childbirth and also of staying up all night.  David stroked her hair
slowly, and kissed her on the forehead.  "Ye must be tired."

Minty shook her head as her eyes drooped down.  "No, I'm fine.  Really..."

David laughed softly and looked at his son, and his mate.  "Of coarse."
Sitting down in a chair beside the bed, he took up vigil watching over
his family. 'Wow, I can truely say I have a family now!'

*I know.* Kaylin said, *Kirimith and I will be wonderful parents to the
hatchling.*

'Now Kaylin, there be just a few things that sound rediculous around
here...' David began, but heard someone approaching the door.  'Hmmm...
that's odd.' He thought as he got up to answer it.

Opening the door, David caught S'an as he was about to knock.  "Hey!" S'an
said, putting his hand down and looking more than a little surprised.  "I
heard Araminta had her baby."

David nodded and ushered S'an inside.  "Aye.  I was wondering when she
would have em... and there he es.  His name be Zael."

S'an looked at Zael and Minty, realised that she was feeding the child,
and looked away as his face flushed.  "It's a wonderful name.  Congrats!"

David smiled.  "Thanks." He placed his hand on S'an shoulder.  "We should
let them sleep."  S'an nodded, and the two riders stepped outside the
door.  David kept it cracked just in case.

"I heard about yesterday.  Are ye all right?" David asked

S'an patted his side gently.  "More or less.  Lakoda is still insisting
that I stay and rest, but I want out of here.  The only reason I came was
to see Yasmine, and then I heard about your son, so I decided to stop by. 
Hopefully I can sneak out later."

David muffled a laugh.  "I don't blame ye.  I can't wait t'get home as
well, with Araminta and Zael.  We might need a bigger apartment."

"I'm sure you'll find something.  Me, I'm perfectly content with my
batchelor pad!" S'an said, grinning.  "You'll have to tell me what family
life is like."

"I will as soon as I figure it out myself." David said, and clasped S'an
forearm.  "Take care of yourself, ok?"

"No problem, I'm going to try and stay away from anything exciting.
Things have been too wound up around here." S'an finished, and waved as he
headed back towards Yasmine's room. "See ya!"

"You too." David said, and went back to Minty.  She was still
dozing, and Zael seemed content, so he sat down again.  'I'll have t'send
out letters t'my family at Keldarra.  Then to te'guild hall t'register
Zael..." He thought while gently closing his hand over Minty's.

NRPG:  Man, warren life is just so busy recently... *heh heh heh*
       James, wecome to the warren!  Sorry David or S'an can't meet your
       character, but both their dragons are a little injured, so wont be
       flying for a few days.  But I'm sure you'll meet them eventually!
