[DL-M] Meetings

Tina woke at the first light of dawn, as the pink and rose coloured sky
shone and flickered briefly in between the dark purple clouds that
covered the sky. The cold from the spring night had crept into her bones
making them stiff and sore.
<Are you all right my little kitten of delight?> said Shella as Tina
snuggled closer to the warm, cyan flanks of the 95 foot dragon.
<Cold, very cold!> said Tina, her teeth chattering with cold. Shella
turned her head to the side and opened her mouth wide. A huge white hot
burst of flame shot forth engulfing the boulder. The temperature built up
until the rock began to crack and glow with the heat.
<There you go my child, draw closer to the boulder and heat yourself up.
Perhaps we shall find one of your human settlements today?>
<If there are any!> snorted Tina defiantly not enjoying this VR game
there was no action, no men and well, something was not right about
Shella she was too real.
Tina huddled closer to the rock and soon the waves of heat drove away
the cold morning air. Tina glanced over her shoulder and shook her head,
it had been a strange few days, they had probably been the best days of
her life.
She had never felt as close to any one else as she did with Shela right
now. Tina couldn't put her feelings into words, but it was like nothing
she had felt before.
Tina heated the last bits of her rations and tried to untangle her long
red hair.
<Right then Shella, lets get moving.> thought Tina, followed by a
heartfelt sigh. She climbed onto the back of her dragon who started to
beat her wings. The powerful strokes and the thrust from the hind legs
drove her up into the air.
They flew for an hour or so enjoying the spring sunshine with no sight of
civilisation. The air was crisp and fresh as it whistled through Tina's
hair.
<We must land for a while Shella and let me stretch my legs.> said Tina.
Shella started to dive for the ground below, but pulled up sharply.
<Tina, ahead and slightly below. Look DRAGONS!> said Shella
enthusiastically. Tina looked and saw a flight of 3 dragons, all three
dragons had riders!
<What shall we do Shella, dragons might be dang.......?> asked Tina
unsure of what to do. Shella took the decision into her own hands and
dived towards the three dragons and their riders bellowing a roar of
greeting.
[Tag: the 3 riders - whoever they are]
NRPG Well, hi to you all (hmmm a few familar names I see) how are the
three rider going to react to a 95 foot cyan green dragon plummeting
towards them? *grin*
Looking forward to writing with you all!

We shall not cease from exploration
And in the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
