>"Not at all!"  Ailill and Tina reached the small exam room.  "Just wait

"Gee she was a nice lady." said Tina to no-one in particular.

<Hmmmmmming all the time if nothing else does *that* will drive me   
nuts!!! I hope the dinning hall isn't too far I'm bloody starving.>

Tina had a nose around the med centre.
<Strange things here are a mix of old style fantasy and almost 20th   
century tech.>
<What are you talking about?>
<Teh tech it's a mixture.>
<Wasn't it like that in Renen?>
<No not from the briefs that I read.>
<What's 20th century?>
<Well that was the last century on Earth.>
<You still believe that this is just a game?>
<Of course it is!> said Tina confidently, trying to supress the tiny   
doubt she was feeling.

[Cut the Koda and Tina examination]

Tina lay back on the bed as she did so her tummy gurgled loudly. Where   
was Ailill with that food?

Seconds later Ailill popped her head round the door.
"Food?" she said flashing a grin.
"Great I'm straved!" said Tina sitting up eagerly.
"I didn't know what you liked so I got a selection."
"Wow you could feed an army with this! How much do I owe?"
"Owe? Oh money! Surely you know we don't use money here in the warrens.   
Oh you probably wouldn't know would you. You being a stranger and all   
that."
"If you don't earn and use money how do yo get food to live off?" asked   
Tina tucking into the food in front of her.

"Well in short in return from protecting the towns, cities, villages and   
farms from the wraiths..."
"Oh the nasty things that live to destroy."
"Yep that's right well the villagers and people are known as the   
landbound and the dragon riders as the warren folk."
"Oh right novel I suppose."
"Well the landbound in return for us risking our live to protect them   
give us tithes of food and clothing and other things we need to survive."
"OK I think I've got that. Thanks for the food, it's great."

"Anyway I'd better go, I'm exhausted."
"Ok, see you around I hope." said Tina.
"No doubt we'll bump into each other."
"Looking forward to it!"

[Jumping foward to after Koda's collapse]

"Me I'm a healer."
"Oh like Koda?" asked Tina
"Kind of. So what do you do." said Kendal changing the subject. Tina   
noticed his unsubtle change of topic, but simply hid her msile and   
carried on along the new conversation.

"Me, I'm a dragon rider. It's a long story, but in short I'm not from   
this world, but a place called Renen. There I protected the land from the   
Darken Hoard. Pretty much like you guys and the wraiths."
"Interesting. I've never heard of Renen."
"I don't think anyone has." laughed Tina. Kendal smiled.

"So are you going to be around for long?"
"I don't know, I haven't given it much thought. I guess so, until I find   
a way back to Renen." said Tina. "I suppose I'll have to speak to the   
warren lady. Hey it looks like people have finished with Koda, let's   
check on her." said Tina.
