The two walked a bit further out toward their dragons and soon
were out of ear shot. Kendal moved in closer to talk with David. Things
didn't seem right.

	"What's your thoughts David."

	"What do you mean."

"I don't like this one bit. Why won't the Baron see us."

"We all know the Baron has no love for the riders."

"Yeah sure, but what did Jarvis mean by saying its dangerous for
us to be around now. Something smells fishy."

"What do ya think is going on?"

"I'm not sure, but something big I'd imagine, especially by that
look that Jarvis and the guards gave us. Something big."

"I think ye are being a wee bit paranoid my friend. We explained
to Jarvis that the lass was alright."

"And I think that you're not being paranoid enough. I hate
royalty. Always two bit underhanded scoundrals. Thats what my father
always tells me. You can never trust them."

"My friend, this time I think you're wrong."

"Perhaps David, and perhaps not. I saw a good clearing about half
a mile down the way. We could wait there a bit and see whats going on."

	"Spying."

"Well Waylene did say to patrol the area."

"Alright, maybe for a little while."

The two quickly mounted their dragons and took off. Both
wondering what was going on and both hoping that it was nothing.

Figured maybe we'd get a good scouting of the troop build up to warn the
others or something.

The World has no room for cowards.
We must all be ready to toil, to suffer, to die.
And yours is not less noble because no drum beats before you
when you go out into your daily battlefields.
And no crowds shout about your coming when you return
from your daily victory or defeat.
