[DL-M] Carnival is in town...

{Sometime in the future, at night}

"See... I told you it was here!" Zaphir yelled cheerfully while he pointed
at the map on the center of the table. "Marrid warren!"

"Ach..." Kallil snorted as he sat back in his chair. It creaked under
his weight, but held tightly. "So you do be right. But do they have
willing coin that they would spend on our show?"

"Even if they don't..." Theos shrugged, "warrens have a variety of
services, and very good craftmanship in all their works." He sipped his
wine and grinned, looking at Zaphir. "Not to mention the women..."

Everyone around the table laughed, even Kallil. Sharon gave him an elbow
in his ribs just for good measure, and he sputtered apologies while
chuckling all the same.

"Aye, I have heard about dragonbound, but would love to see it for real.
Not just in some harpers story. I say we go!" She said, and with a flick
of her wrist produced a knife from seemingly nowhere. She began to trim
her nails. "The floor is now open for objections."

"Well of corse I say we go. Food, wine, entertainment, we have it all,
and even dragonriders need a break now and again!" Theos laughed.

"And we also need to replenish our supplies. Food, water, and for once
we'll be protected against wraiths. We go now, yes?" Zaphir added, and
looked eagerly at Kallil. "Well?"

Kallil shrugged, and looked towards the far end of the table. "We have
not yeat heard from Cleitus..." He said, and motioned with his hand.
"What say you illisionist?"

The man in flowing black robes only shrugged. "I have not had the
opprotunity to study a dragon before. I could learn much, and I hear
riders are very fond of sleight of hand. Besides, now that we are here,
where else could we go?"

Kallil snorted again, and rolled up the map. "Then it is decided, we go
to Marrid. In the morning, we travel." Everyone nodded, and bid their
good evenings. There would be plenty of work tomorrow, and sleep was
precious, even for performers...

NRPG: I'm still in! :) FYI, the show is called the Travelers Bazarr, and
it consists of about 38 people ranging from jugglers, acrobats, magicians,
alchemists, fortune tellers, tumblers, strong men, and any other variety
of circus people. There are also a few traders and craftmen (mostly
journeymen), and a book seller/trader. I think we all can have fun with
them, and I've got some tricks up my sleeve, so stay tuned! :)
