"There has been a lot of death recently hasn't there?" sighed Sarilyn.
"Hopefully it's all over now and we can get back to normal."

"Yes, hopefully." Agreed Billy, but the chilly sensation that ran down his
spine made him feel very uneasy about the future as if the bad times had
only just begun.

Sarilyn nodded, and then stood, dusting herself off. She'd had an
idea, offered it, and not one word had been spoken for or against it except
for Billy..and she could understand his trepedition about it.

She steeled her face, determined not to let the increasing sense of
loneliness she was feeling here show. She'd gotten more attention when she
first arrived. Now, the women hated her because they thought she was a
threat, the men hated her because they feared their women...she guessed, and
it was as if she didn't even exist as far as anyone was concerned.

Leaning over, she hugged Billy. Then headed for the stairs. "I hope
you figure out a way out of this mess. I'm tired of talking to the air
around here." It wasn't said sarcastically, it was just...spoken with a
sort of lost, dejected tone.

When she arrived outside, she immediately headed for Lunath, mounting
quickly, and the two flew to their apartment, where Sari flopped on her bed,
giving vent to pent up frustration, hurt, and increasing bitterness.
Nothing she said or did mattered any more. And she decided that unless she
was on patrol, or doing something specifically for her or Lunath, she'd stay
well clear of the warrenfolk from now on.

[NRPG: I'm not tagging anyone. It is becoming increasingly painful to me
to see my tags repeatedly ignored. At least James replied to me privately
about my post..which is well over 2 weeks old at this point. Others have
not been replied to at all, and I am losing the joy of writing here if I am
only writing for myself..if no one interacts, it is not interactive. If you
wish to interact with my char, fine. I will post from time to time, just to
keep her active, but unless specifically tagged, that's the most you're
going to get.]
