Lacey saw T'grat with the new hatchlings and strolled over. "Yeah, I have 
a question, Why the heck did you wake them up so early?" Lacey grinned 
mischieviously at him.

"Well, unlike, some saucy little Queenriders, these guys will have to 
work to earn their keep." T'grat teased Lacey.

The new riders tried to keep from laughing at the scene being played out 
before them.

"Oh, you want me to work to earn my keep?" Lacey asked "Well, how about I 
take over for you right now & teach them about basic care, then send them 
to breakfast....you can get a nap in, old man....you loook like you need it"

That was too much and one of the new riders burst out laughing and the 
others shortly followed. T'grat and Lacey also were laughing.

"Just for that, little one, you CAN teach them, while I go eat!" T'grat 
said walking off, laughing still.

Lacey turned to the group abd concentrated on showing the new riders how 
to oil their new dragons, emphasizing that the dragons love water and 
loved to be bathed, oiled, and scratched.

With just a few questions the lesson drew to a close and Lacey sent them 
on to breakfast.

(Naomi?) she reached for her sister (Can we have breakfast in your office 
and discuss some things)

Lacey headed for Jaquel's apartment after leaving Lacey's office. She had 
started to stop in everyday to talk with the older Warrenlady. She had 
recovered from her illness, but still not recovered her vitality and 
strength. She also seemed lost without D'Gerritt.

"Jaquel?" she called as she entered the woman's apartment.

"Lacey!" Jaquel's face was wreathed in smiles "I am glad you had time for 
me today. I know its always busy right after a hatching."

"Well, its on;y for a few minutes, but I did want to check on you" Lacey 
didn't mention that Naomi had asked her to make sure Jaquel's symptoms 
did not return. They still had no clue as to how Jaquel had been poisoned 
or by who.

"Wasn't the hatching yesterday wonderful? All the babies and the new 
riders. I love hatchings" Jaquel beamed remembering other hatchings in 
her life.

"Yes, it was and we have a number of promising new riders" Lacey said 
"and the number of new bards we have among us...I love it! More people to 
sing with"

"I too love the music in the evenings, it is so wonderful. You know that 
new girl, the one who joined at Garnet's last hatching.....Soliel, she 
has been coming by occasionally to sing for me. It has been quite 
wonderful" Jaquel said

Lacey regretfully stood up. "Jaquel I am sorry, I do need to go. I will 
see you tomorrow" She went over to the older woman and gave her a hug 
goodbye and headed out the door.

She then headed to find Soliel. She found the girl oiling her dragon 
singing softly.

Lacetys tood listening for a moment then walked up. "Hi Soliel, I heard 
that you have been helping to keep Jaquel entertained. I wanted to thank 
you, she so enjoys it."
