DL-N Making friends

>

Soliel was tired but happy. As she watched C'rrin and his small dragon
tiredly make their way towards the Hatchling barracks, she smiled and
ran to Firen.

"A friend, Firen. I think I finally have a real friend."

<You have friends here at the Warren, Soliel. And you have me=85.>

Soliel scratched Firen's eye ridges, watching her dragon's slowly
whirling eyes.

"I know that silly=85 but this is different. C'rrin seemed very nice. And
his dragon was adorable. I have never seen a white dragon=85"

<mmmmm=85. Scratch THERE=85> Soliel obliged.

"Silly dragon. But I love you."

<I love you too.> Soliel gave Firen on final scratch as her dragon
closed her eyes. Wearily, Soliel sought her own bed.

Soliel was oiling Firen when Lacey found her.

"Hi Soliel, I heard that you have been helping to keep Jaquel
entertained. I wanted to thank=20
you, she so enjoys it."

Soliel smiled slightly. "It has been my pleasure. I think she's lonely,
and I wanted to make her feel that she hadn't been forgotten about=85
Especially after the poisoning=85 She needed me=85"

<You have done good, beloved.> Firen said to her.

Lacey smiled. "But I wanted to thank you=85 I have been trying to visit
Jaquel, but I am so busy, I only get to spend a few minutes with her. I
am glad that someone else has noticed that she needs attention still."

Soliel looked at Lacey for a moment before confiding, "You know, I
really love it here. I feel like I've finally come home."

Lacey was quiet for a moment, and her eyes held that far off look that
said she was talking to Garnet. "Soliel, I am very glad you feel that
way. That is how is should be."

Firen butted Soliel with her head. "Silly beast," Soliel said
affectionately, gently patting Firen's neck.

"I just wanted to let you know how happy I am here. Especially now that
I am making friends."

Lacey nodded her head, wondering what had brought on this sudden change
in Soliel. She had thought that Soliel was happy, but the girl was shy
enough, that it was hard to tell.=20

Garnet enlightened her rider. <She is making friends, friends that are
her own age. She is happy.>=20

<Yes, I do believe she is.> Lacey said, a smile on her face.

"Thanks for stopping by Lacey, I appreciate it=85 Perhaps we can get
together with Aleipha and anyone else who likes to sing=85I think that
could be fun=85"

Lacey smiled brightly. "Yes, that would be fun. But now I must be on my
way. I will see you later."

Soliel nodded, and finished oiling Firen.

TAG anyone who wants to interact with Soliel=85 go right ahead. She won't
be doing anything imporntaht
